If You ran only 1 mile distance in 7 mn50 , You were almost walking fast if it was on flat, when at 16 , I ran 1 km in 2 mn50 and 3 kms in 9 mn49 . Just try once Zoncolan, I let You choose your face, to experience what is a real cardio. I was sad to leave and even my tour is not finished yet, then I wish for ski for Christmas until beginning of May, but I dream to return to Zoncolan on September 2023 , land for birds.
3 km in 9:49 when you were 16? Ok that is pretty good. I only once clicked in at sub 10 min on the 3 km in a test, and that was in the army after running 8 km 5 days a week for 5 months. I had just become 19 iirc. But the problem is you cannot both build muscles and be a runner like that at the same time.
