I'm not sure what time it opens, so I don't know if you can go there during the day for a drink (I never drink during the day so I couldn't tell you a good place to grab a drink during the day), however, I know it's open by 10 pm and as soon as you go in, you can turn to the left and go in the quiet bar side. That's normally where I go when I am at CJs. It's more quiet and the chairs are much more comfortable than the ones in the main area.

The answer to your question is "yes", you may have an undisturbed drink to relax there. Agent 007, James Bond does that sort of thing all the time. From a technical point of view though, you may need to examine your personality type and compulsiveness. If you like to stare at the floor in order to relax or you are like our friend Mr Bond, a quiet drink at CJ's will be a breeze.

However, if you are like me and like gaze around and wonder about things when you have a drink, then CJ's may not be well suited to your relaxation program. For instance you will notice ladies looking at you as if you are really agent 007. Avoid eye contact at all costs.

The trick at this point is to ignore all the other smoking, pot bellied, balding agent 007's in the bar and just enjoy that these ladies have finally realised what a Lothario you are. Maybe blow a few smoke rings to reinforce your air of nonchalance and to further relax.

You may now finish your drink 10 $ US poorer and return to your room to work on that sales quote feeling very much relaxed.

Yes there was an entrance fee, but can't remember exactly how much since it got waived off after I selected a girl inside. Probably was in the range of 100-130 k.

Excellent GFE and attitude with all 3 gals I selected, will highly recommend this place.

Hotel Classic:

There are 3 levels to explore: bunker, 2nd and 5th. Entrance is 30 k. I went there a bit early in the evening, so the 2nd level was nearly deserted. Very pushy mamasans who won't leave you the fuck alone and keep bringing in one girl after another, even after you tell them that you want to finish your drink and look around first. Prices are 325 k for one and 525 k for 2 - includes the price of the room, which is very clean and decent. Performances though, could be wildly differing. Taking one girl is the safe course, I thought, but even that could be a hit or miss. But at such dirt cheap rates, I'm not complaining.

You've been posting here a while, I think you know the ropes pretty well already. It's basically central since it's as north as you can get in the area flagged as south Jakarta. It just depends what you want. If your only goal is sex in brothels, then staying in mangga besar is great. However, the Kuningan City area is a fairly nice area in Jakarta. The areas like mangga besar with the hotels that are near the brothels are in a crap area of the city.

Well I think there's been nothing but positive comments about this place Vins Lounge, Spa and Karaoke in pondoh Indah so I figured I had to check it out. After a late lunch at Gandaria City Mall I took a cab over; however, it was extremely difficult to find as there was no signage. It looked like a boarded up store front so something must of happened. But anyway found out it was open and I guess if you're in the area and only have 200 k on you and don't want to go to an ATM for more cash its an ok deal for a moderately reasonable massage and a blow job finish at 180 k. The girls are maybe low 7's at best and I think I'm being a bit generous. As you walk in the place it has a distinct look of a underground club. The massage rooms are not very clean and the shower area is horrible. Now I went to the Vins Lounge using the address shown on another website, Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda 7 D. But anyway I would not make any effort to go back to this place and IMHO the upstairs area where the massages are given is pretty down market.
