Been living in Bogota for nearly 4 months now, with trips to Brazil and Mexico here and there. Must have met over 40 ISG members and shown the city to many, people from all ages and walks of life. Several of whom have become friends, and I have to admit I feel indebted towards the forum because of that. Though business was not my intention when first arriving, through serendipity, ended up at advanced negotiations with a Colombian conglomerate. My stay has been more than P2 P, over the months I've experienced a lot of what the city has to offer. Add to that the connections I've built with locals, expats, diplomats, being fluent in Spanish. And I almost feel at home, quite frankly.
A few points:
-Santa Fe. The good: There is always some talent, and it's really cheap. The bad: you get what you pay for. The vast majority of SF's population isn't actually working girls, but young Venezuelan refugee guys who are just roaming the streets and hanging out. Wouldn't consider it dangerous but I wouldn't be naive to call it safe. Fortunately, this board allows you to find other members to go with, which makes the whole experience much better.
SF just isn't for everyone. Rooms are filthy and depending on your level of cleanliness this might or might not be an issue. Then again, what can you expect at this price? If you're on a tight budget, SF is the way to go. If you're not, there are better options for a better experience. I enjoy my comfort and rather spend more for more. Aside from the initial novelty factor, the longer I've been in Bogota, the less I've went. That being said I suggest you visit it and see it. I still enjoy SF in 2 ways: to party every once in a while in one of the bars, more for the stripclub and party environment than for getting laid. And to check for new talent, test drive it and if it's good, meet them outside (sadly this isn't always possible as many girls in SF don't have an ID and a cellphone). To better my experience, I've made good contacts in SF from bar owners, managers, waiters, security and obviously girls. Suggest you do the same. This definitely enhances the experience when you're treated well and know your way around.
-SA. Been one of my favorite playgrounds for years, having met hundreds of girls, strictly in America. First time experiencing it here and overall I would say SA in Colombia is not bad but has less quantity and less quality than other cities in America that have yielded better results for me. I also found the percentage of hardcore pros to be substantially higher on SA in Colombia than in America.
-Other P2P options: Eroticas Bogota is good for escorts. For a different experience, there's an upscale massage place called Nanxing Spa. Wasn't impressed by Lido as talent was similar to SF. Hard to believe that in a country like Colombia, there isn't a place anywhere near the level of experience you can get in Hong-Kong / Cascadas in Tijuana!
-Non P2 P: as far as I'm concerned, this is where Bogota shines. Keeping it short because this is a P2 P forum. Tinder: Better than in America. Just like in most developing countries, girls are generally bored and want to meet. Bars / clubs: Girls are usually approachable and you will be surprised at how many girls speak English and are well-travelled. Steadily been going out to Zona T where I have my favorite spots. I was pleasantly surprised at how receptive and willing to meet most girls are.
Can't say there is one place to meet the best girls in town. Rather what I've done is entertain all options and pick the top 5% from each of them: SF and the best 3-4 Fiebre / Troya girls, SA and the non-P2 P options. That is how I've built a rotation with top talent.
Restaurants: food is actually much better than expected in Bogota! Though obviously not at the level of Brazil or Mexico. Suggest the following places: LEO for a romantic dinner, Osk Peru for a Miami vibe in a hot spot, Agave Azul for a speakeasy setup. Other places with good food and ambiance: La Cabrera, El Chato, Castanyoles.
Bogota doesn't do anything extremely well, but rather does many things quite well. It is not a city of extremes, like its cousin Sao Paulo. Colombia, Brazil and Mexico each have their pros and cons and there's no perfect place. I like all 3.

I would prefer to have things lined up before I arrive there, but Tinder seems like it would be better used once I'm there instead of ahead of time.

Staying at Bogota from end of December as already get bored to move all over Colombia in less than 7 weeks visited 14 different cities. Going to Santa Fe almost every day and not so much girls on the streets as was before on November. Some said 40 k some 50 k but 90 percent agree 40 k if you negotiate. If you go out of main area you still can get some street girls for 30 k but another side most of the times not worth to go the girls is lower quality and streets are more dodgy. 3 or 4 days ago the drug dealer was murdered at Santa Fe hotel room so last few days was crazy amount of police on the streets I never seen so many before. Anyway Santa Fe still fun if you use the common sense.

That's all the time I can spend for now. Personally, I have learned with such a short time frame, don't spend / waste time with Tinder / SA for a variety of reasons most of which have been mentioned here many times.
