I was there a week ago, had an evening free and decided to visit after a 7-year hiatus. Got down there from Sudirman by Busway (cheap / super fast / not crowded) and walked 2 min to the strip. What used to be bars is now gentrified to tourist hotels and regular businesses. Counted at least 5 empty spots where bars and restaurants had been operating. Even arriving at 10 pm there was NOBODY there on a Tuesday night, even in Top Gun. Quality of talent was devastatingly poor. Only one pair of girls stood out, which a group of guys came in and scooped up in under 15 min. I had expected the action to be happening earlier, but as was mentioned previously, it seems that midnight++ is where things start to happen. Things on Blok M are not as good as there were back in the day. However, you can still find gems on occasion (just like pretty much anywhere else in town). I remember you posting a while ago about one of my old faves on the blok, Frida. She still shows up on occasion and still looks as good as ever if not better. The quality is not that good, especially if the girl is using shorthand Bahasa, but it usually can give you the gist. In addition, you can use Google Translate and cut-and-paste in your conversations. Use technology like the girls are doing. Unless you are trying to communicate esoteric escort-type requirements (e. I usually can pick from 4 to 6 different girls from any given wechat name. Even if it appears it is a wechat account for a single girl, I normally ask for photos of the therapists. And amazingly, I will get 4 to 6 picks pretty much invariably. Only twice has it actually been just that one girl. Here are some pics from Hotel Classic Bunker recently. I normally just go there for the nude dancers since they have nude dancers non-stop from 8 pm till 2 am. Is it possible to find a dumpier street than that anywhere in the world? The difference between the 2 areas is the Blok M area is flooded with expats. The dirty streets of penjay are flooded with mostly lower class local customers. I don't think there is any question that Blok M is safer. I actually had a problem once at Penjay with some locals in the alley as I walked towards the taxis in the street. I have never had a problem at Blok M.
