Anyone know if this place is OK. Its so cheap I am a little worried. I usually stay at New Garden but I have seen this place but never walked in. The guy Obe is really nice on emails but I hope the place isn't to bad as far as rooms. Anyone know? Thanks
You get what you pay for, if you are on a tight budget, there are better options, Try Seabreeze for $40, or stick with NG. You can get a decent one bedroom apartment right in El Batey for $50.

Guess thats why he has only kitchenette available. But he says things change. He seems nice I think I will at least check it out.
Some prior review, found by using the search button and Don Antonio.

- good: very close to the bars, center of the action.
- good: some rooms have a kitchenette.
- good: nice pool / bar area.
- bad: some rooms don't have A / C ($5 less)

Funny thing is I am not really on a budget. I hate Seabreeze totally. New Garden in new wing was always nice but twice the price of the Don. I only considered the Don Antonio because of price and heard its clean and nice from a few different people. I wish I would have went in and took a look around in all the other times I have been there. Sometimes I am a fucking idiot. I stayed in a two bedroom two bath condo in ocean dreams in cabarete last year (I always rent a car in DR) but I emailed Sonja from Ocean dreams and they no longer allow companions to be brought in. Place was killer!

Rent a two bed in Hispaniola with a private pool for $140 if you want free range pussy. 10 minute walk to town or 2 minute drive!
I have a bit of an odd question. I will be visiting Sosua next week for a few days and am curious about how openminded the people there are. I have Tourettes Syndrome, and while cursing compulsively is not one of my ticks, I can get pretty vocal at times, especially with a few beers. Part of my tick repertoire is making barking noises and twitches. Although nothing too extreme. Anyone have any idea if this will interfere seriously with my mongering experience?
Well, if you were pounding a chica doggie style and started barking, growling, biting and howling loudly as you shoot your load then roll over panting before going to sleep it will be probably be considered pretty normal monger behavior. Now if you were to lift one leg and start licking your balls after the deed that might raise some eyebrows.

That is too bad to hear, because I like renting in Ocean Dream, right on the beach, nice layout and convenient to Sosua.

You know when I first read this guys post, I broke out laughing! But I am sure this problem isn't funny. I just hope he speaks espanol if he is serious so he can explain whats going on! Or hes going to scare the shit out of some of the people or maybe he will just fit right in. One of the craziest things I ever seen was driving back to Blackbeards from cabarete and I was only about a half mile before the turn onto the dirt road heading into Costabar and there was a tall Dominican girl walking down the street completley naked, I meant totally naked walking down the street. No shoes or anything! Nothing! As long as I live I will never forget that.
Well the fact that you took Frannie's wry humor in your stride is a great sign. I think it is hard to take a joke when it is at your expense at least I find it hard to swallow.
Well, you know I am fond of dogs, and don't want to see them getting riled up by barking mongers. The motoconchos are bad enough already.

Tourette

I've seen beautiful young girls tolerate old nasty drunken men who couldn't walk a straight line if their life depended on it. I doubt they'll have much of a problem with your issue. At the end of the day the money is all blue (or that sort of faded orange'ish brown). And when a girl needs to feed her bambino they tend not to get too picky.
Very expensive, bad food and plenty of gay waiters is BOLOGNA don't go there not truly italian food but too much expensive
What Balderdash! The cook certainly is not Italian but the owner of the restaurant is a guy from the City of Bologna, Italy who trained the people. I was introduced to the place by another Italian living in Sosua, a Romano and both dinners of mine were superb with attentive service. One privilege of eating with the owner. Well I did not taste the gay waiters but then I am not into men and gay waiters are as good in terms of being waiters. But I will grant that the place is pricey.
Now, having said that, if your want "true" Italian food, then you should stick to Italy only. Even the concept of "al dente" changes as you move from Napoli to Roma to Firenze to Milano; lasciamo perdere la Republica Domenicana!

Perla sosua apartments
OK, gang. Posted a question in the Sosua Hotel section a few days ago but no answers, so I'll try here. Anyone stayed at or have comments on the Perla Sosua apartments? I usually stay at Sosua Bay Hotel (mongering section) and have been happy but wondering what these apartments might be like for a few days or a week in late March. Thanks in advance for any comments.

They only know two ailments or conditions ("gripe" or "loco") and they only know two cures for ailments (antibiotics or mamajuana).

And I swear on my family that his dick was just above his kneecaps. The driver said he probably had a mental problem.
