Yes its a very long road, look around the area where the petrol plant is. There are a few there, also all the way back towards Hoi An there are plenty dotted along the road, you just have to look for cat toc nam signs.

No frosted glass or flower pots just those fluttering colored curtain type things, 200 k for FS.

Thanks for replying, much appreciated. Afraid I don't know of any petrol plants etc. And I'm kind of lost without one or two intersecting roads as guidance. For eg, on LE van hien, would they fall somewhere between the streets of ho xuan huong and minh mang? And if so, are they anywhere located near, for eg, the marble mountain hotel, or danang hospital for women and children? If you happen to stay in Hue for some time long enough, I recommend building up some LTR with a Hue girl. The girls in Hue are pretty, passionate, and devoted to their men. This may be the result of all the men having left town for jobs in Hanoi and Saigon.

Heads up on my recent mongering at Vung Tau. Not been to MP's lately. Been relying on gai. To (formerly Kynu). Word of warning though. Since recently, I've noticed there are very few 'pure' freelancers (fc's) operating. It's mostly groups. You ring the number on the profile and it's answered at a central spot. The girl that arrives at the hotel is rarely the girl on the profile or the reports.

So, I've dabbled at the bar scene. First tried Red Parrot. Met a pretty gal right at the front. There were some others playing pool at the back. This one turned out very chatty. Bought her drink. Discussed services, finished drink, I paid bar fine + overnight fee of 3 k, and we were on our way to hotel (of my choice).

At hotel, we showered together, and everything promised was on offer. Note that mid-way through she tried to renegotiate number of shots. Just make sure to insist and stick to what was agreed. Anyway, turned out to be a good punt.

A month afterwards, tried Red Parrot again. The same girl was there. But I wanted to try a different girl. Chatted with a couple of girls, but didn't really connect. One girl, whom I bought a drink for turned out to be a bar girl only (doesn't go out on call outs). So, if you are after action outside perhaps ask this first. Noted that Red Parrot closes at 1 am.

Headed to MK bar, there was girl at front again, who chatted asking why I'm arriving so late. Chatted with her and we hit it off. Bought her a drink. She was very flirty. However, just before the second shot she became a bit weird and started asking me some strange questions like if I had covid and everything else.

Anyway, service on second shot was good. After this, I had to move to next room while she cleaned the 'smoke' from our room. I slept in the next room, while she slept in the living room, cuddling the dog.

Couple of hours later she was still sleeping. I had to wake her and be quite insistent about third shot as agreed. She finally came round and we did the deed. Service was good again.

But be weary with these bar pickups, if girl tries to change plan (number of shots) half way through meeting. Be insistent. Also, I think the vibe at Red Parrot was slightly more laid back. I felt the girl at MK bar was out to gouge as many drinks as possible from me (don't know if this arranged with management there or just the girl). BTW, Drinks at Red Parrot is only about 100 k per drink.

Also, feel that choosing a hotel instead of her apartment would have been the way to go. No harm done, but I know for next time. Price for overnight at MK was the same as red parrot (3000 k), but the difference is that at red parrot bar fine is included. Also, at red parrot you pay the barman, whereas at MK you pay the fc.

Anyone found anywhere still accepting customers on the sly? Even Cat Tocs are closed at this point.

The only ones I've found are Paradise and Cat Toc Nam Nu.

I've heard of a couple of districts hassling joggers, but haven't seen anything as extreme as that. There's definitely cat toc and massage operating, it's just a challenge to find them.
