At Rio I always have it with me. The downside is that the jacket they give you is sort of silk light material, so the cell phone is quite heavy for it's pocket. You can ask, in most of saunas, for a plastic transparent pursue with zipper to store it when you take the phone with you.

At 18, the thigh massage is performed right in the main lounge. At Rio, they take you somewhere more private. It all depends.
As for finishing to completion, I'm pretty sure that all saunas forbid this as they want you to still be hungry for the main course. If you do get a thigh massage to completion, that is strictly an under the table service on the girl's part and you should not breathe a word to management or else she'll be in major trouble.

I have no doubt that is right most of the time, but some guys post that the girls will sometimes ask whether you are planning to have a session with a girl after, and if not will do you to completion. After RTFF and reading a lot of recent reports of Sanado I decided to check it out for myself on my second trip to Macau. My first trip was spend at the Rio so I thought I'd make some comparisons.
*Note I have only had day trips to Macau so I went to the saunas in the afternoon when they are not busy.
Facility:
Rio Spa is in the Rio hotel (obviously), so you can enter just like any hotel guest. The decor is super upscale and spacious. The hot pool is big with two steam rooms. The lounge area is arranged in rows in one big room with TV's in front each row. They have computer with internet on trolleys that you can request and they will bring it to you. The rooms are on a different floor and have shallow massage tubs which is cool.
Sanado is across and to the right of Metropark hotel. Really close to the Rio as well. It is in the basement of a residential building(I think). The first floor is kinda grungy, but it's not part of the sauna. Since it is not in a hotel there is a small walk of shame factor if you are self conscious. (a little for me anyways then I got over it). The hot pool is not very big with a glass steam room. The lounge area is divide into smaller sections with a TV in each section. Sanado has computer stations that you can use. I can't confirm internet as I did not use computers there. Rooms are equipped with standard shower

The Rio has stalls by the hot pool where one of the massage girls(not offering FS) will give you a thorough body wash which I really enjoyed. The management is polite and professional. The Sauna grils have a fixed routine.
At the Sanado, a Sanua girl will help you lather when you take you shower. Remember her number or let a manager know if you like the girl. When you sit in the hot pool a sauna girl will give you a massage(I did not get this. I think it was too early and they don't have enough girls to maintain this service. The management was attentive as there weren't many guests at the time. The sauna girl you chose will bring you a list of actions that you can have her do. She will perform the ones you chose. You can skip each action and move on if you don't like it.
Selection:
The Rio has large quantity and variety of girls. Chinese, Taiwanese, Mongolian, Japanese, Korean, Russian....They have a room specifically for selection with 2 dance pole and the girls come in batches at a time.
The Sanado only have Chinese girls(as far as I can tell). They have about a dozen earlier in the day and over twenty when it's busier. They bring the girls to the lounge area for selection. They were able to do this at my request when it's early and there weren't many guests.
Pricing:
The Rio Spa's pricing is based on the ethnicity of the girl you pic. Since all the girls are beautiful, the more exotic(in their opinion) is more expensive. They also have premium services, but I could not afford it and don't remember what they are.
All the girls at The Sanado are Chinese, so the pricing is based on the different service options, such as 2 girls(still 1S though. I was like WTF), MSOG and so forth. The Sanado gives you a 20% discount if you enter before 5PM and pick your girl before 8:30PM. Some extra service are not discounted and manager let you know and can always ask.(all FS service options are dicounted)
Personal opinion:
I kept the above as objective as I could. I did omit things like food as I did not eat at the Rio spa and it would not be fair to include it. I think The Sanado is better deal if you like Chinese girls. If you do not like Chinese girls or is particular about the facility then Rio is the better choice.
I prefered the selection process at the Sanado because I don't have to rush and make my pick at the same time as all the other guests. They sent the girls to me at the lounge when it's well lit and I can take my time. The only guys choosing at the same time as me at the most are ones sitting beside me. Again all Chinese though, a downer if you are not into Chinese girls.
I satisfied my Eastern European curiosity with Russian girl at the Rio and knew that I couldn't get that at the Sanado, but for about the same price(discounted) I had a Chinese girl for 90 min MSOG and I did not have to worry about releasing too early resulting in a lot cuddling time. I could just keep going and the extra 30 mins almost doubles the FS time because the shower/routine generally take about 20 minutes.
Even though I did not spent my time during the busy hours. I would imagine the Sanado would be more likely to be overcrowded and understaffed if it got busy.
I hope I can stay overnight on my next trip so I can check out MP3 and D2 disco for change of pace.

it is like always. You can hit and you can miss. I had fantastic sessions with a Russian girl in 18. I visited her 3 times, and expanded all three times to 2 or 3 hrs. Unfortunately I wasn't able to meet her outside. She was outstanding.

Yes, you can.
Suggestion: Use a resealable plastic bag (like you need to bring liquids with your carry-on luggage for a flight) or something similar.
Some saunas (like 18) have small lockable boxes in the sauna area, you can store your phone. But in most of same you have to carry the phone with you. So make sure that it can survey the water in the shower and the heat in the real sauna..... :)

there are a couple of sauna where your wife can stay. Unfortunately those are not the saunas you want to go. Fortunately in Asia most places have different saunas for men and women.
If you stay in a 4 or 5* hotel then they have a spa including sauna and all the services you need for your wife. So it depends on the area you stay.
The way is to bring your wife to a 4 hr session in the hotel spa (sauna, treatment, etc.) and you leave for your own sauna adventure. Make sure to be back in time. This could be a challenge. I.e. if you stay in Dream city (Grand Hyatt, etc.) you will need time to come to a places like 18, Rio, etc..
Another option:
I'm also looking for a sauna which services women. So, maybe you can buy the same service for your wife you want to get for you. :)

Here's an idea. Get rooms at the Grand Lapa hotel. It's pretty nice, and they have a very decent, themed spa, ideal for your wife to be treated like a princess for a few hours.

I start my report with the second sauna I enjoyed in Macau. I went to Golden where the cost was about 1700 for everything per girl. Not being familiar with the process I grabbed the cutest spinner/girl next door when the lineup came around for someone else.
