Could be as simple as balanitis.
I had unprotected sex with a WG 4 days back and from today morning, I have developed a itching in my penis head and discomfort on the penile sides. I have however approached a doctor and started my prEP tablet viraday within 72 hours which was 2 days back.
I had unprotected sex with the same girl a year back too but didn't take any prEP last year nor did any tests since there was no itchiness or whatsoever.
Now I'm worried that I could have some kind of STD's which is causing the itchiness and discomfort.
Should I worried and go for any test immediately?
Will the test results be kept secret or will it be sent to any government agency. I don't want people come knocking on my door.
Also if anyone can suggest a good labs in Chennai would be helpful.
I'm really worried. Please help!
I had a itching and reddening of penis head with lots of raised bumps etc. Consulted an urologist who said it was balanitis. Gave antibiotics (augmentin duo) and asked to practice hygiene and use soft soap.

Hi Folks,
Is there any specific timeline to lab test for STDs after intercourse?
I usually do lab test every 4-6 mnths regularly.
Thanks.
Slight white discharge. Is it dangerous
Dear Friends,
Offlate I observed that my underwear is little wet with white discharge. May be a couple of drops. Its like drips when we are sexually aroused.
I just wanted to check, is it normal.
Is it because of my heavy work pressure. I go out in sun and work 6-7 hrs.
Kindly advice. I am shy to go to doc.

HSV isn't a real concern as per Doc
Fellow Mongers,
This is an awareness post.
Please be aware of this condition (HSV) before mongering. Temporary pleasure lead to Permanent destructions.
Intercourse with safety will not create any health issues. But BBBJ, DFK may lead to HSV.
So kindly take all precautions before indulging.
Saliva has bacteria which could cause more health issues. So, Safe Mongering is always better and healthier. Take care all.
Xlover.
Doc that I checked with said almost 70% of the world population has HSV in one form or other and do not even know. So he said as long as you don't have intercourse with symptoms you are good even if you have it and with time it will stop even showing up.
Still good to be cautious.
The bottomline is he wasn't even concerned about HSV as he was about the claps.
Asymptomatic HSV may not be a problem for Self.
But this can cause issue to your partner. Doc mentioned the same. But one has HSV IgM positive should always be more cautious when intercourse with their partner.
The advice that the Doc suggested is to Avoid salivary contact with the **x Workers.
We all may know more the main diseases. But we may not have knowledge on this HSV.
So per your post, It is still good to be cautious.
Xlover.
