Thanks for the great report on Sirenas. I assume the standard rate of 40 dollars per hour applies? How much did you pay? Left a "good tip" how much? I really enjoyed Sirenas that they don't pressure you, try to upsell you, and certainly don't ask for a tip. They can actually message great in addition to FS.
Guys I listened like a good little Guero for years and never took the buses walking everywhere. Then I took the buses and found I could get around much better and learned the routes and streets. The only problems I've ever seen in the vacinity of juarez have been problems at the bridge. On the USA Side and the Mexican side. Its the one piece of useful information people told me that has been confirmed over and over again. You are asking for trouble if you try to cross the bridge alone in the evenings.

How did they try to intimidate you, what was their method? If you had whipped out your wallet they could have easlily grabbed it and ran. I hope this doesn't turn into a trend. I remember a news report about someone being held up at gun point on the downtown bridge last Christmas.

I've stopped by Aldo's (where the Pink Lady used to be) and Casa Colorado over the last three or four weekends, generally between 8 and 12 PM.
Aldo's has about six to 10 ladies working there at any one time. In my opinion, they range from about 4 to 7. You will rate them higher if you like the gorditas. There are not a lot of customers there, so you will be able to pick and chose at your leisure. The ladies do not pester you to buy them drinks or anything. I think that is a good thing.
The Casa has picked up a lot lately. Maybe that's because of the renovation project that is going on. In any case, it is always busy with lots of girls. And there are quite a few very attractive ones. But, there are also a lot of customers. Actually, it seems to me that there are a lot more customers than girls. You might have to push a lot of other guys out of the way to get to the pretty one you want. And then, when you get to her, she might be tired...if you know what I mean.

Spent last Wed in Juarez. Walked over the bridge and after exploring the crumbling RL district, eventually ended up at Felinas around 10 am. Only 2 chicas, both a little heavy yet attractive. I always consider full service to be both - not just one or the other. Despite that, I spent 45 minutes in the "Starlight?" room with her for a total of $59 US. Still a great deal for the money IMHO.
For first timers or if you are not a Spanish speaker, Luxxor is a good place to go. Excellent facilities, a US owner with a lot of knowledge about the scene and lots of grade A girls. I was surprised at the selection and quality of the chicas. You will pay $20-$40 more than some other places, but I can't see going wrong at Luxxor. Didn't tour the upstairs Jaccuzzi Room.

I did like the selection and picked out a nice chica named Mia. She was a decent massage, very talkative, but killed the mood with the upsell, the funs stuff wasn't as fun but her body was worth it. It just goes to show that so little is guaranteed in life. That is the nature of the MP business. Even within one MP the experience can vary so greatly from one chica to another. I have had some that were so forgettable that they have been relegated to the dust bin of history and others that have made me think I should sell the ranch and move to Col. Anapra just to be near them.
One of the things I like most about Luxxor is that the rooms are well lit. If I am paying for a hottie, I want to be able to see her when I am pumping her tight little ass. Luxxor has light (as well as cleanliness). Some of the other places are just too dark for me.

We are lucky in that, for the locals, we go over for 1hr to fill a prescription or spend all day in Mexico's 4th/5th largest City and yet end the day in our own homes...our own beds. There is enough information on this site (Link to Wikipedia Map) to plan a trip either walking or driving anywhere in town. What’s fun is taking what information you have to work with and going and seeing. I started walking over and taking the bus, then riding with friends, then driving myself.
It’s more much more fun to go with friends and you will find the people nice, accomodating to tourists, and helpful if you are nice to them. I love hanging out at Pink Lady and trying to communicate with the girls. The one time I did go to the room the girl spoke English very well and that did add to the experience, but dont let that stop you especially if you are goign to Mesaje. Well said. It's funny how, if you're looking for "an adventure", once you step off that bridge (Santa Fe) you know you're in the right place. The beauty of being able to wake up in your own bed, or a Stateside motel/hotel, is that you can still get a relatively cheap room in Juarez. If you don't feel at ease with staying the night, you go back over the border to your own bed.
My very first trip into Juarez, I drove around a lot. It was too "busy" for me to really see what was around me and had no idea where anything was, in my pre-Forum days. But I could hear the call and came back over and over until finally moving to Las Cruces.
It took a while for me to ride the bus but with all the info posted here (mainly in the archives at this point) I felt confident and had no problems. Easy as pie and always friendly people. Even tho' I've yet to really explore, it's a good way to see the area between point A and point B. The best part is that they have their main destination points painted on the windshield and they 'all seem to' end up back in El Centro. Keeping a good bearing in your mental compass helps as does a few of the taller landmarks like mountain formations.
As far as Spanish - I think my vocabulary was about 6 words deep when I first started going to Juarez a few years ago. Now it's up to about 20 words but there are so many words that you can figure out with roots and judge the overall sentence with. Spanish is pretty much based on Latin in the same way English is so there's a similar "attitude" with a lot of words. I can't really converse at all but I'm still able to 'chat 'em up' a little bit - just enough to have fun with it, at the least. I also find that 'they' are more than willing to help you expand your linguistic skills, if you ask simple things like "How do you say this" or "What's that called". Knowing I'm a dumb gringo, they make an effort to get around my lack of word skills and try to figure out what I'm asking. I know I've yet to hear "LEARN SPANISH YOU LOUSY %%@#&^!".
I used to have some intimidation but it was very short-lived and feel pretty much at ease with every visit. Of course that at-ease feeling I like to keep in check with the reminder that I AM in another country.
