I've never been to Dollhouse, but for Extasis and 5:15, I found that the only differences between those and somewhere like Nitecats is that (1) they're much more expensive, (2) they're really vigilant about not letting the women give their numbers out like in the US clubs, and (3) the music sucks; it's like deafening techno or house music. Not sure many people do. The girls probably get a % of the drinks like they do at NightKat. They get 25% at NightKat off the drinks the guys order.

That's what they'd like you to believe, at least at Papayanet. For instance, my bill was $3.60 for a salad, plus $.99 for the water. A total of $4.59. With 12% IVA is $5.08, if I recall correctly, my bill was a total of $5.60 or so. I didn't keep the receipt, but I know when I asked the waiter about it, he did fess up that the 10% service charge is in there, even though the receipt is printed with 0% service on it. Seems rather deceitful.

Other restaurants print it clearly on the bill, such as at Hunter and BAires. I ate at a place on Colon today, El Brasero, and all prices included both IVA and 10% service charge. I only pay cash, so a credit card charge doesn't come into it.

Many countries have a table charge, I first ran into it in Paris, and then in Italy 8 or 9 years ago. It's usually in the $1-$3 range. And usually covers the bread/butter and perhaps a small appetizer. The most expensive one I've seen was at Cabanas Las Lilas in Buenos Aires. They did include a fair size appetizer platter with that, but it was way overpriced.

I actually think that 10% is an easy amount, and quite fair for most of the world. Go outside of the US and Canada, and you'll find that tipping 15-20% is usually not the norm. I always try to both pay and tip like a local, or otherwise they'll take gringos for chumps, and the prices will spiral.

Will keep this short and sweet as this addresses many prior posts. Came back from Quito last night after six days:

Night Cats - total hole, smells like my old high school gym locker. Only 3-4 girls present and none higher than a 6. Sign posted reads: Chica - $10, suite - $5. No cover & $3 for a regular pilsner.

Extasis (or Extasy - I assume they're the same?). $18 cover with three free drinks. Only good if you're a whiskey drinker. Albiet, there were many girls and ratings from 6 - 8. Didn't get any quotes for on premises activity. One chica did quote $200 for her to come to our hotel. We declined and probably could have gotten it cheaper as it was early and we didn't negotiate. It looked a little too pricey so we left.

Vibrations: Must've been an early, slow night. Only two girls, maybe 7's on the scale. $3 for regular pilsner.

Casa de Medellian (sp?): Like being in someone's basement. We (four of us) were put in a small back room with no interaction with the girls. There were 6 - 7 girls, none higher than a 7. Had our one beer ($3 - no cover)) and left.

Cafe Rojo: Jackpot! Amazing place. No cover, $2.50 for small pilsners. Must've been 20 girls ranging from 7 - 9 on my scale. Had a private dance with Gabbly, hot body, mid-20s. The private show was $20, the second of two songs she was totally nude. Next, spotted an exotic creature, said her name was Pamela. Hot younger, maybe early 20s. Nice face & lips, beautiful eyes. I asked if she wanted a drink and she ordered an Amarito (sp?). To my amazement it was only $2.50. I had been told a drink for the girls was $15! Anyway, we made for the back room ($20) and had a nice, albiet short session (bj w/ condom) and nice fuck. Afterwards, she sprayed myself and herself with rubbing alcohol. If I ever go back to Quito, I'm there every afternoon!!

Street Girls on the Amazones: Many girls on the street corners around the Hotel Mercure and Hilton Colon. Some were good enough looking, but only wanted to go back to their "room." Several were also spotted on adjacent street corners to the Amazones, but the taxi driver said if you stray too much you take great risk. One girl quoted my buddy $26. And beware, there's one corner where the "girls" are all black, and my guess is that several of those were TV's or TS's, unless that's your bag.

Casino Action: Saw none of that, like you find in CR and the DR by comparison. The girls are there to gamble, not hook-up.

Hope I didn't bore anyone with old hash......but, all in all, I'd go back again.

Oh, hotel recommendations: Stayed at Hotel Quito the first two nights, $40 a night (via Expedia) and very nice rooms. Too bad it's a ways away from the action. It does have a very nice outdoor heated pool and nice casino as well (1-cent and 5-cent slots, $1 minimum card games). If we wanted to extend our stay there, they quoted $100. Breakfast buffet waaaaay too steep at $11.50. The hotel offers beautiful views of the city below. At all costs, don't get the 1st floor. My buddies were there and didn't sleep too well with all the noise.

Next three nights, Hotel Sebastian. We got a walk-in offer of $50 per night and 50% off the breakfast buffet ($3.95). Very nice hotel and walking distance (3-blocks) to the Amazones and found several blocks of eateries and drinkeries walking distance from the hotel. Beers ranged from $.60 - $2.00 for grande. Many places had 2-fer specials. Also, the doormen at the hotel have chica contacts, but can't bring them there. It has to be a cheaper hotel down the street.

I will say, however, I am having a great time in the daytime places. I have been to Guajira, 270 la Nina and 557 Tomayo. By far I like 557 best of the 3.

At Guajira, i had a session with a big titted Colombiana. She quoted $20, where I read everyone else pays 15, then she wants a tip before anything. I said no, to wait for after. Then I gave her a 5 and she seemed pissed. I dont think I will go back there.

I'd never go with another colombian women if I wasn't in colombia ( I haven't been). Colombians are hardcore street hoes no matter where you find them. These girls travel all over to hawk their wares. The same is true for dominicans.

I'm assuming that your report was fairly lengthy, which is probably why it got lost. With long reports, it's best to type them out on Notepad, then copy and paste to ISG and submit.

Negative. I think it's always been one of the high end places. I was there in July 2006. At that time it was $20 per half hour with the chica. Fairly good quality place, clean, many attractive chicas to choose from, no pressure, excellent service from the chica I selected. BTW, it's 557 Jose Tamayo; the address is also the name of the place.

Been in Quito for a week now looking at business oppty's, visiting my wife, ect and of course being the old monger that I am, vited several casa the past 2 days doing some recon. First I am not a 15 dollar guy here in quito because for 15-20 minutes, why bother when you can get the same for 8 bucks elsewhere. I went to club 122 yesterday about 2pm and there were about 50 guys and maybe 40 chicas there and of all types. Took a hot little costena from guyas for a great session, she rode me raw for a full 15 minutes. Left, went to the casino monte carlo and won 50 bucks playing blackjack and decided to treat myself to club 122 again. Took a chica from cuenca, a solid 7, again for 800 pennies. Of all the 7-10 dollar casas, club 122 seems to have the most chicas and best quality IMHO. Socialjarhead, I tried to find your hotel in mariscal sucre, but could not. If you are still in quito, let me know and that goes for any of you guys that want to catch a beer or casa in the daytime as at night I am no able to play. Anyone else notice this?[/QUOTE]Yes, indeed : Papaya Net is very expensive but in Quito are a lot of cyber cafes with a much better service which and....much cheaper: such as just around the corner of Papaya Net (leaving Papaya at the right side) but especially those outside of Gringolandia, such as near el mall El Jardin and in 10 de agosto near troley Santa Clara etc etc.

Service is poor there. Very slow. Often inaccurate and you have to ask for things more than once. They do have a 2 for $3 mixed drink special which is good (typical for the area).

Since arriving on the 24th, I have been to the NightKat a number of times. I always thought you had to go upstairs to get service. I stayed til close this morning (6am) and discovered that wasn't the case. I got a bj (no cover) from 2 chicks (a third tried to join the party) while seated in the club. The place wasn't that busy and we just picked a corner. A couple of other american guys saw I got my service and got the same plus sex on top of it. The girls were more than happy to do it. The management didn't care and even gave the thumbs up and blessing. One of the waiters explained that they used to have full sex shows (customer and chica) on the stage when they had the old owner (a few months ago) for a fee. While it seems stupid for the house to allow this (they don't get their $5 room fee and the chica keeps all the money)... it's something different.

Went to Extasis before NightKat. Arrived around 9pm and left about midnight. There were 15-20 girls working when I left. Only 1 or two of them were 8+. Most were in the 5-7 range. The hottest one was making eyes at me but I wasn't going to pay $125 for sex upstairs ($100 girl, $25 house). Plenty of guys were doing it though (local suits) and that hot chick got poked anyways before I left. Who wants sloppy seconds? At Extasis, drinks are $6 for non top shelf. $18 cover includes 3 non top shelf or 2 of the others. Upon entering, the dood explained the rules to me (in spanish..not sure if he speaks english) and did a very good patdown. They tried to get an extra $3 at the window when I came in for a taxi. I told them I didn't want to pay it and I'd get my own taxi. Were plenty at midnight driving by. I also asked to pay for each drink as I ordered it and they complied with the request. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of security/waitors. Probably more than Doll House. The inside of Extasis is laid out more like a house with a big bar. There is a dance floor too. Not the open air setting like Doll House with the dance floor in the middle between you and the girls. Service/price wise I would go back to Extasis. Not to screw the girls but just to hangout. Doll House by far has had the best looking girls I have seen by number.

I'm at the Hotel Quito right now. I booked the $57 a night rate through Orbitz, but then applied my $200 off coupon for 5 nights, so have a net price of $30 per night, with taxes/fees. They only charge me $3.50 plus tax/tip for breakfast. Perhaps the price you paid for the room?

It can be noisy, since there seem to be a lot of tour groups, sports teams, etc.

i had to do some passport stuff today, which i'll report on later, so i had some time to blow in the afternoon. i decided i'd take a bus and go to one of the $7 casas. (i picked up a $2.50 map which has the trollebuses on them, fits nicely in your pocket).
