I guess none of them ever like me.
2 shots is the standard at Maribaya and other places in Jakarta, but not at Hotel Travel or Hotel Classic or Malioboro.
To Smoothy.
I think for Maribaya two shots is standard they also charge more than hotel travel for their below average girl 500k right, I will in town end of this month might check it out.

Fast Eddie 48
500k was price back in October.
I think that is the set charge for all girls.
Price now is 600k. 2 pops. 1hr or more if you need.
Inflation in Indonesia for 2014 was over 8, so I guess it makes sense.

No one has any guess on apartment costs?
Hi guys,
Just a few questions, I'd like to spend a month or so in Indonesia at some point but from reading the thread it sounds out of my budget.
*snip* How much would hotels there cost? Would it be possible to rent an apartment or hotel room for one month at a time? Could I get a furnished one for under $500 a month? *snip. Somewhere in Indonesia?
Indonesia is, by population, the 4th largest country in the world. Something like 25 million people are in metro Jakarta, and few of them are paying US$500 per month. I doubt very much if you would like to stay in those accomodations, and unless you are able to use buses, you would not be able to get around. All that assumes someone would rent to you. If you are a bule, most landlords will assume you are rich and ask for outrageous rents. With a year's rent in advance, of course.
In Bali, I think you would spend more than a few days trying to find somewhere for under $500, but it's possible. (I've visited girls who lived in basic accomodations had a bedroom, a bathroom, and something that passed for a small kitchen, and that was no where near $500.)
Unless you speak Indonesian, it will be tough for you to set up anything before or immediately after arrival, and you might factor in the cost of your time. And, you may not find anything. All up to you. TTG
Hi guys,
Just a few questions, I'd like to spend a month or so in Indonesia at some point but from reading the thread it sounds out of my budget.
Are girls really like $50+? What about for short time? (I am young will I be able to get cheaper, something like $30 for short time?)
Where is the cheapest city to monger?
How much would hotels there cost? Would it be possible to rent an apartment or hotel room for one month at a time? Could I get a furnished one for under $500 a month?
I've been to Pattaya, Angeles, and Cambodia and spent a month or more in each city and never spent more than $1200 while getting girls roughly every other day, would that be possible in Indonesia? I don't drink and don't pay barfines so please remember that when answering, if I can live on that much in Pattaya could I also somewhere in Indonesia?
Are girls really like $50+?
Yes. For freelancers. In most Jakarta freelancer bars, give or take a few dollars. For freelancers in Bali, on average, expect double the amount.
-What about for short time?
$25 to $30.
- (I am young will I be able to get cheaper, something like $30 for short time?)
Yes, that is pretty much the average price for ST. Age is irrelevant, BTW. But you may get some more attention on dating sites. However. Dating profiles may look appetizing, in real life most girls are unattractive and you may be better of with freelancers from bars.
-Where is the cheapest city to monger?
Medan.
-How much would hotels there cost? Would it be possible to rent an apartment or hotel room for one month at a time? Could I get a furnished one for under $500 a month?
For hotels, quiz the internet. The cheapest accommodation you could rent for a month would be a kost. There are some reasonable kosts that would only set you back $400 to $600. But privacy in kosts may be an issue. Apartments tend to be a little more expensive.

Those are the best monger holiday destinations in Asia. No contest, really. In Indonesia you will not find an equivalent. Batam perhaps. Generally, Bali is for holidays and major cities, like Jakarta, for business.
Is Maribaya and other spots open tomorrow or is there a holiday on account of the Muslim festival. Any info would help.
Cheers
Hi John,
I am not sure specifically, but you'll generally find the places with 'hotel' int heir name will be open. Well thats the deal over Ramadan anyway.
So, Alexis for example should be a definite yes, I reckon your standing a fairly good chance at Hotel Melawai for it to be open.

Thanks for the responses, it sounds like living in Indonesia would be quite a bit more expensive than any of the other places I have been.
I don't have very high standards so I wonder if I could find something in the $300-$400ish a month range that would be good enough for me, I'm assuming money would go farther in Batam than in Jakarta?
Can you find hotels for $20ish a night?
Hi PussyFeelsGood,
It'll take a lot of time to find an apartment and, if you do, the landlord will demand 12 or 24 months rent paid in advance. The good news is there are apartments in the range you described. I rented a small 1-bedroom in Medit Gajah Madah, right smack dab in the center of Kota arguably the best place in town for pussy for $400.
Oh, and you can find budget hotels in the $20 range, try Manggis Inn in Mangga Besar V. Surprisingly clean and chic for the price. And only a few minutes away from the nice places to monger.

Can you find hotels for $20ish a night?
There are several inexpensive "backpacker" hotels on a street known as Jalan Jaksa, in the downtown area, northeast of Plaza Sarinah and southeast of MONAS (the tall phallic monument in the center of town, known informally to Indonesians as "Sukarno's Last Erection").
Many of the girls in the hotel bars and in Blok M may be reluctant to join you there; on the other hand, there are some low-end girls working the cheap bars / restaurants on that street.
There are some very inexpensive options for mongering in Jakarta, however they are usually not recommended to newbie visitors because of safety & language reasons. Back in 2007, I wrote about my adventures in the Kali Jodo area and near the train station. Feel free to search the forum for those posts, however, if you ever go to those places, be careful!

Can you find hotels for $20ish a night?
In Jakarta there's plenty of options for about $150 per month in boarding houses / kos especially near university kampuses. Jalan jaksa is fairly poor value for money. Easiest thing to do is to hitch up with some rich girls at the trendy disco who'll sponsor your stay for a few weeks in their family apartments. There's 25 million people in the Jakarta conurbation so you should be able to roam from apartment to apartment easily.
Batam is a small industrial town today of about 300,000 mainly factory workers. Within one month all the sweet young things will know you or know about you. It's more of a place for RnR than to stay for mongering. If I was on a tight budget, not seeking work, and expecting to monger every night I would choose either Jogyakarta or Malang to abode.

That is way too much you can go to Terminal Classic and get two Girl for about 500k 90 min but again you might not get BBBJ, I just check exchange rate 100 USD get you 1. 28 Mil rp now best I see for a while Jarkata is still much better bargin than China, Malayasia and Thailand.
