I have been here in Malate for over two weeks now. So far here is my impression.

Dirty as SHIT!

Street kids and people living on the sidewalks, pissing wherever they like. Some little boy street kids running around naked all the time. Beggars everywhere.

Just all around dirty and nasty. I have walked all over the place, to and from MBC and whatever. No issues for me at all, I never felt unsafe, but it is just dirty and nasty.

MBC and Cowboy are walking distance but I would rather stay far away and take a cab. Robinson is across the street and I like the mall. But it is NOTHING compared to the Makati megaexperience at greenbelt and the other malls all connected. I have a great place on the 43rd floor with a killer view of the bay. But it just is not worth it.

In my opinion Malate is "WAY TO FUCKING BULLSHIT DIRTY!" I will not stay here again. Not worried about my safety so far but it is just nasty here. But, if you like pissing in public on the street whenever you want to and where ever you want to, beggars from toddlers to toothless grannies, and the smell of fresh garbage and [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140][CodeWord140][/url] this is the place to be.

FUCK MALATE. Stay in Makati every time.

Or go to India which IMHO is worse on the real poverty / dirt scale than what you have ever seen so far.

This is why I avoid Malate etc at all costs and never go MBC preferring my regulars or a visit to Havana Café instead.

I am interested in visiting here because I like the Soapy Massages in Bangkok. I cannot determine the total cost of a Full Service Soapy Massage. I understand you need to pay the bar fine and for the room; but do you also have to pay the girl directly? If so, how much?

If you take a girl from Air Force One into Flight 168, is she going to be experienced in a Soapy Massage, or should you stick to the ones from Flight 168? I apologize if this has been addressed already, but my search of the forum did not give me a clear answer.

I started my Manila spree in Malate and stayed around Robinson mall a couple of times. But after I did find Makati and its lux and clean / safe surroundings (I talk stricktly about Greenbelt area the Glorietta / Ayala malls and the nightspots as I don't wander outside here) Malate is dead to me. I did not encounter any trouble whatsoever and allways felt safe in the dodgy streets of Eremita / Malate. It has its charm by all means. Makati and The Fort play in a totaly different leauge though with a much higher level of comfort and zero beggars (where I go). Some girls I met during my first trips where a bit reluctant even to meet up in Malate as even they thought it was a nasty area.

could swear it was here that someone said he did not see 20 total in two weeks in malate. yea, the [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134][CodeWord134][/url] smell is strong. the hungry naked poor kids are depressing, the street people tried to snach my old ladys jewelry and pick my pocket. everything you say blu is true. yet i am a union electrician, get dirty at work. and have had to travel and live in whatever and shower with a bucket. so i see the workers surviving, the kids taking care of the infants. i have feed many who only eat the small half and save the other for their sister, brother mother. i did take the train thru makiati just to have been there. even the train feels different there in makati. i would live there for sure if i lived in manila. but when it is time to hunt. malate and ermita is my kind of place.

the only thing i miss is the ammonia smell from where they are mopping up the cum. in malate they do not mop it up. we all have to make sacrifices when we go hunting in the slums.

What would be convenient places to stay for mongering in Makati.

However on my trips I only ever actually bar fined one girl and now use the girly bars there as plan C or plan D if my dates are a no show. I prefer to stay at the E-Hotel next to Greenbelt One as I meet my dates at Greenbelt and prefer to be able to walk to the hotel. It is also a 10 minutes walk to Havana Cafe area, and a 5 to 10 minute taxi ride to Burgos St.

As some members have an issue with the walk of shame, or walk of win as I prefer to call it, then E-Hotel might not be for you as you have to walk through the dining hall with reception on the left and all the staff can see you. But they just smile at me knowingly.

I'm not so an active hunter as most here but I want to say a few good things about one part of malate. The Ocampo / Harrison street with Orchid Garden suites hotel and across from that is the Harrison shopping mall where on can find free lancers. I rate them scale 6 to 7 max.

The hotel has an ok swimming pool + rooms are good + breakfast buffet. Excellent. Price from 2200 to 2500.

The other main reason I pick this area is 5 to 10min by taxi from mall of asia where I meet my dates.

It is only 20 min from international airport.

I have walked the street toward the US embassy from Harrison mall and found some nice cafes, bakery shops and small hotels. Not the crap you found in that other half of malate.

Yes, I see the beggers and yes sometimes the kids approach me. It is all part of the experience.

I just wanted others to know that NOT ALL of malate is Crap + yes I agree with your observations in the areas you were talking of.

I agree what you say of Makati but too crowded and too long of a taxi ride for me.

I should mention. I only stay in the malate area for 2 days at most before heading to the vasayans. Malate is my arrival and departure hub.

I have been coming to the Philippines on and off for the past 20 years. I should take the effort to go visit Havana café and sticky fingers.

I confess. I am too much of a loner, shy and not good at trying new things. I know Iam missing out. I need to be braver.

You gentlemen have inspired me when you say you got your first 3 and 4some at Havana. I want that experience.

The Orchid Gardens looks fairly nice and clean. The St Giles looks like a bigger, more modern hotel on the night life area for about the same price, definitely worth trying.

In comparison the Riviera Mansion and its sister hotel in Malate/Ermita would look old, basic and well-worn, but it's within walking distance of the Manila Bay Cafe and Robinson Mall.

Burgos gogo bars look good with many good-looking girls. ST bar fine of 1500. 2000 pesos plus tips are slightly higher than the freelancers at MBC.
