A new two strain omicron booster which covers for two older omicron strains which are no longer in existance is ready for people to take!
So the new omicron strain XBB15 which sounds like a cousin of Star Wars robot R2 D2, is not able to be vaccinated against but government still advises to take the booster.

But TW is infinitely more important for the western world especially compared to Ukraine, not merely from a moral, deterring dictators pov, but very tangible economic and technology angle. With our capitalist, profit driven model we have become so dependent on them for tech outsourcing. Their crown jewel is Taiwan Semi, which has a very dominant share in manufacturing of advanced semiconductors. Mr. Morris Chang is a genuine hero, most Taiwanese revere him as such and deservedly so, and whoever controls Taiwan Semi have the rest of the world by their balls for at least several years. We in the west have leverage over Taiwan Semiconductor because we supply all their equipment but it would be still extremely inconvenient to outright dangerous for our economic well being to military readiness if CCP were to control it. There is a reason why Biden blurted out a couple of times about nukes and defending TW against protocol. It is that critical.
CCP bastards also are in a shit pickle. We have been denying them access to chips and other critical tech for 3 to 4 years at an increasing crescendo. They feel taking over Taiwan solves their problems for technology access and also gain a chokehold on us by using Taiwan Semi as a blackmail option.
Ukraine was never a nuke Flashpoint unless an individual Putin lost his mind. From purely a strategic angle, TW is a realistic nuke risk for both sides, if we push them too far and their economy tanks because we deny them all access to chips.

If it wasn't for redefined definition of efficacy to make a vaccine failure seem like a success, the vaccine did absolutely nothing. As I said in the past from many previous post, it is well known that natural evolution make virus more infectious and less pathogenic. As predicted, omicron is more infectious and less pathogenic due to evolution. Tell me where I'm wrong?
