I think time is changing
I used to meet ex star performer of PSE shop at soft core oily shop.
She left PSE shop for some reasons. That place was usually for Japanese customers.
She was quite happy with that place.
She said "In this place, I do not need to do A+, kiss nor BBBJ. Even customer has to pay again for one more pop."
This is reality. Young and good performers, they know there are many another easy options.
A+ surcharge is some kind of last method or effort of shop to prevent their young and good performers from flying away.
Agree with you 100% and that is where I think the "oily" side of the P4 P industry is headed. Its going to be up sell up sell soon enough.
I'm not sure you mean "up sell. " To up sell means to sell something to customers they did not originally intend to buy. Often it entails enticing customers to buy a more expensive version of a product or service than what they originally intended to purchase. It seems to me what is happening in the oily MPs is something different. The price structure is changing. The prix fixe menu is being replaced with an a la cart menu. Rather than getting four courses (DFK, BBBJ with cumshot, FS and a-level with a second cumshot) at a set price, each course is priced separately and the combined cost of all four courses is greater than the price on the prix fixe menu. Regardless, I'm not convinced this is the future of the oily MP industry.
There are other possible futures. The government could decide to crack down on the sex industry. The oily MPs and gogo bars as we know them will entirely disappear. Or, as some very smart guys with access to a lot of information are predicting, China will soon begin a decade like Japan experienced in the 1990's, with dramatic deflation and prolonged economic recession, with the addition of a violent crackdown by the government on a few hundred million rebellious Chinese people. The unrest and economic distress will spread into SE Asia, desperate girls will flock to Bangkok's sex industry and we will enter into a golden age for mongers.
Seriously, some facts are: Thailand's demographics are changing and there are far fewer young females in the population. The economy has been hurt by the political problems but is still fairly strong and jobs are plentiful. Many men believe the young girls working in the MPs and gogo bars provide lackluster service and the hardcore stars are getting old and leaving the industry. Bangkok is not perceived to be as attractive a mongering destination as it once was. At least some of the oily MPs are struggling financially. Many of the girls complain there are too few customers. The owner of at least one of the well known oilies wants to sell the business. Social media is a disruptive force in the P4 P industry. It is no longer necessary for a SW to shuffle on a stage, sit in a bar beer or work in an MP to find customers. She can cruise an air conditioned mall, sit in a coffee shop or just stay at home and reel in customers with tools like Wechat.
The Mall Group's refurbishing of the Emporium and development of two new properties in the vicinity of the Phrom Phong BTS station could stimulate a wave of new hotels, upscale restaurants and smaller retail developments. The neighborhood could transform into another Siam where the Mall Groups other major property, Siam Paragon, is located. The oilies along Soi 22,24 and 24/1 would no longer be welcome and could not afford the rents in the neighborhood. They would all disappear. As would the MPs on the odd number Soi side of Sukhumvit.
Not to be outdone, Central Group, owner of Central World, Robinson's and Zen department stores, Tops Superstores and other retail properties could respond with it's own expansion; buy Nana Plaza and the surroundings properties, develop them into a major retail center. The entire stretch from Siam to Phrom Phong will develop into an upscale shopping mecca for people from all over SE Asia. Soi Cowboy alone would lack the critical mass to survive and it would slowly but surely die. The Thai-centric soapy MPs along Ratchada and elsewhere around Bangkok would survive. A few of these would transform into venues that cater to farangs living in Bangkok. Patpong would be the only surviving gogo bar neighborhood. There will be a plethora of independent young ladies hooking up with guys through Wechat. These ladies will thrive, attracting young women to their line of work. More and more young ladies working regular jobs in office buildings and retail malls will take note of the lazy and luxurious life the hookers are living and make more and more use of Wechat to find men. Their primary interests, though not necessarily in this order, will be a date and free night on the town, a boyfriend (who might be a rather old boy), an occasional (or more than occasional) nice to very nice gift and some money to augment their meager wage. The distinction between a pro, semi pro and non-pro will become more and more blurred.
Will any of these things happen. Ha! How should I know. What I do know is it is often wrong to predict the future by making linear extrapolations from the present.
I hate to sound cold about it and I am sure some of you will blast me for it, but after 15 years on the ground here, and hearing all the "stories" from numerous P4P gals, it still comes down to this; it is their choice to be in the biz. It is their choice to feed their parasitic families. Many will tell you it is their only option to ply for your sympathies. As Paul said, it is an illusion, and this is part of the illusion. There are other choices. Sex work is still highly compensated and requires very little education and truth be told very little effort. It really is the easy way out, especially when a gal is young and cute. Of course as they age this is a different story, but then again choices choices. All of these gals have opportunities to meet and marry dudes who have the where with all to take care of them. Of course the dude might not want to take care of the parasitic family, but then again, choices choices. The smart oily gals either save and open up a biz at home, they open up their own oily, or all of the above.
About twenty years ago there was a young woman in Bangkok, happily married with two children. Out of desperation she went to work in an MP and became one of the hardcore PSE legends of the oily MP industry. Her mother moved to Bangkok to look after her children. She had plenty of money to support herself, her children and her mother. Then one of her teenage sons got his girlfriend pregnant. Now she had a daughter-in-law and a grandchild to support. But what was the alternative? Should she have refused to help her son? Her mother? How could she? She loves them.
Goat, I am not blasting you. You are absolutely right. Being a SW is a lazy way to make a living, requiring no great skill or education. If you're a nice looking horny young woman you can make good money sucking dicks and spreading your legs, or the cheeks of your ass all day six days a week. It is so enticing. Problem is for every nice customer there is also a bastard who mistreats these girls. They become hardened, callous and polished at exploiting their customers. You are also right about their families. They are parasites. Hell, it's not like these girls are coming from "good families. " The girls from the "good families" wouldn't think of going to Bangkok to make a living fucking fat, hairy old farangs.
In fact, come to think of it, I agree with everything you say. But I also believe while there is a kernel of truth behind every stereotype, which might be a very large kernel, there are also exceptions; and things are more complicated than they might seem. I find trying to understand things makes me more understanding. Which also translates into better service. ;)

As to be expected from somebody who does statistics and analysis for a living.
The lady in question, who we both know well, also makes triple the money in a Korean MP for standard fare then what she used to earn in Bangkok offering one of the kinkiest hardcore PSE services.
And a lot of the MP girls know how much more they can earn abroad and would do it, if there wasn't a significant element of risk involved when going abroad. Still, their dream is to work in Singapore or Dubai, knowing that they can charge a lot more money for their services than at home.
I have a FL friend in Bangkok who worked a stint in London and charged 150 Pounds an hour. Granted she is a looker and speaks fluent English. But even in Germany where prices are at an all time low through the influx of Eastern Europeans, fat old Thai ladies charge 100 Euros an hour for the most basic service.
So maybe the service we generally receive in Thailand and the price we pay for it is still value for money and alas, we can never turn back the wheel of time.
Go to the website.
www.bongkotmassagesoi22.com
Click on the tab at the top of the page labeled "Price".
The quoted prices are compensation for the massage parlor. You will also need to "tip" the ladies. THB1500 is pretty standard.
Click on the tab labeled "Ladies".
Notice that six of the ladies offer A+ (anal sex). The rest only perform vaginal sex. You can expect all the ladies to offer a BBBJ.
Rest assured all the ladies will take off all of their clothes.
All 12 of them have A+ after their names. Some of them look quite nice too. It's odd that this place has suddenly emerged as a place to go for anal when no one even mentioned it a few months ago.
Personally I can understand if a gal not liking A level; simple, she should not provide it. If a dude is hung like an elephant I can certainly understand not wanting to provide A level. I remember Pim at Tulip and her SOP was only guys with small peckers. No harm no foul. She was so skilled in other areas that it really did not matter. But to a) not like it and b) charge more for it at the same time is a bit disingenuous. I would rather see gals who don't like it just not do it. And if I am paying more for it then it better be pretty amazing. I have always liked the oily formula because it is a fixed price. In my close to a decade patronizing them I have never once left a tip beyond the 1500 baht fee. I have never felt that the service has been less because I do not tip. Then again, I am not demanding, would never try to push a girls limits and would never try to get them to do anything they were uncomfortable with.
And the case of Bamboo with her extra 100 baht room charge and 500 baht A level charge we are talking a surcharge of 30% over the other shops. Folks when you look at it on a percentage basis, that's a lot. But that is the way things go in Thailand. I have stopped patronizing many restaurants due to huge percentage price increases. I have seen many places crank up their prices 30% in one whack. The most amazing thing about "Thailand" is that people keep coming and even coming back to pay more and get less across the board. And the Thais are laughing all the way to the bank. Been to any southern beach areas lately? Honestly, you can have a beach holiday in the south of France or Spain for less these days.
I hate to sound cold about it and I am sure some of you will blast me for it, but after 15 years on the ground here, and hearing all the "stories" from numerous P4 P gals, it still comes down to this; it is their choice to be in the biz. They have to find ways to make more money. No one else is happy making the same money while price of your supermarket trolley keeps going up. Meanwhile level of customers is dropping off. Some shops have started to make moves.
Sex work is highly compensated for a small portion of the working girls. There are a significant number of the girls who get very few customers. Bar girls are better off as they can set their own prices depending on demand for them. Some bar girls get BFed only ocassionally as they just don't have the looks and charm.
Once the girl doesn't have the face the body and the service level, her business drops off badly. You don't want any girl just because she had a baby.
"it better be amazing". I wonder what this means. In most countries anal is extra. Yet guys want to pay a lot of money for it. I don't know why. Its simple though. If it's not worth the extra charge (it isn't for me), then simply don't take it or find some girl who offers for free. I don't have the smallest Pecker and am not quick. I can count occasions I was ever offered anal on one hand (maybe two) even where a high price like 100 Euro would have applied. Girls do not like to do it. That is very clear. If they don't have to, they won't. It is far more accepted in South America I believe. I have had anal probably less than once per year on average as I don't like to do things that the girl really doesn't like (with a very skewed distribution. More frequently in last few years). My sessions are about preferably both parties having fun.
The world doesn't stand still for you. Inflationary forces have to take effect. There are cheaper countries to move to. Many already moved to Phnom Penh.

And your last statement. Huh? No one minds paying more and getting more, or at least getting the same for a small percentage increase. That is not what we are seeing here. Addict Massage
Went to Addict Massage during my last trip. Reached there at 1:30 PM. As soon as I entered, girls lined up and at least half of them were above 7. Two more punters were there. I generally do not take much time to select. Chose one who was smiling at me, and was very beautiful. I think her name was Mimy. Paid and was taken to the room. I ordered beer for myself and some drink for her.
Usual routine followed. Service was good but she did not allow me to kiss. A disappoint as she was good in looks. I gave her very good DATY, my best ever. She smelled very nice. She gave me a CBJ (I prefer CBJ) after an okay massage. I finished in Missionary position and was out after tipping her 200 Baht.
Overall good experience.
Looks: 8/10
GFE: 0/10
Massage: 6/10
Sex: 8/10.

Nataree
After my decent experience at Addict, I decided to try Nataree. Like Addict, it was my first trip to Nataree also.
These are the MPs I had tried in my last two trips. On 2006 and 2012.
2006: Akane (Good experience), Eden (Good experience), Posiedon (Average experience) and Caesars (Best experience).
2012: Akane (two experiences. One Good and one Bad), Dream Heaven (Bad experience), Annies (Bad experience) and Tulip (Average experience).
Anyway, I reached Nataree around 6 PM, and did not find any fellow mongers there. I chose a good looking girl from the fishbowl, and was quoted 2000 Baht.
I order beer for myself and water for her.
She was very pretty but again did not allow me to kiss. Not getting a DFK during my short trip this time was a big disappointment for me. I was looking for a GF experience and did not get any. Any way, usual routine. Tub, massage, CBJ and a quick sex. Tipped her 200 Baht.
Looks: 7/10
GFE: 0/10
Massage: 6/10
Sex: 6/10
1500 baht for an hour or twos work is a very high wage in Thailand.
On this note, do the oily girls typically get the full 1500 baht, with the shop getting the 400-800 time fee, or do they kick back some part of those 1500 to the shop?
