Got a deal to Santo Domingo for three weeks I could not resist. Spent the entire time in SD. Thought of spending some time in Sosua but did not, not even for a weekend. I thought I should fully explore the casa scene in SD which I did not do in my last visit. Started off, of course, at GBP. Saw many chicas from my last visit in May and a few new ones. Thanks for the report but love more details. I am not a casa guy especially when they want a 4000 pesos plus the drinks which is the norm for many casas. That is 3 session in Sosua. These are cheap chinese 100 CC or 125 CC bikes. You will pay a lot more because you are a gringo and renting for only a week, but it will still be cheap. Your main problem may be that they will require a deposit which is greater than the bike's value and may scam you.

Is there somewhere I can hire an automatic, as I don't know how to ride a geared bike which was what ultimately ended the idea of hiring one of the big CC bikes needed to get on autopista duarte.
