From reading the recent posts here, I didn't realize how prevalent BBFS is down there. The pregnancy and child support payments is a concern and I haven't been able to find any definite info on a google search.

I can't speak for all states, but California does cooperate with Mexico on child support. It takes a fair amount of paperwork and tenacity on the girl's part, but she can get CA to enforce child support. I helped a girl get it years ago. She got a few payments, then Mr. Wonderful went underground. The "kid" is now 18 or 19, and a really great kid.

Now if this were a random encounter then it would be very difficult for her to file for support.
