My final thoughts on trip #5 to Lima
This trip was very different for me. I hardly did any exploring in the pfp scene which is something I really enjoy doing in lima. This time I spent most of my time with non pros that I met online.
I had some wonderful experiences that will last in my memory for awhile... at least until the near future (je je). The girls I met really touched me and gave me alot of needed affection. I haven't felt this way with women for ages and it was nice to know I still had those feeling inside me. Actually I was more crushed when I left than the girls. One girl bought me a gift (salsa sensual cd) and visited with me minutes before I left. Another girl sent me a "I am already sad" text message and came to see me the last day as well.
I had mixed feelings about the whole non pro scene when I left. I am glad I got my dick wet and so forth but the feelings I have towards the girls made it uncomfortable for me. I would never want to abuse these girls or be the cause of any more misery for them. I only hope I was decent enough to lift their self esteems as they did for me.
The best way for to describe my experience is to list a brief commentary on each girl and what happened. I think it would serve the forum to read about what you are up against or come across in lima with online dating.
Girl #1 Maritza- . We got along very well online better than any other girl I was talking to . She gave it up to me raw on the 3rd night and was by my side for the entire trip. She is 30 yrs old a little short lives at home social worker no kids.
She sent me off with a salsa cd and a visit to my hotel minutes before leaving to the airport.
She gave me no drama and was willing to do anything.
Girl #2- Cynthia Did not turn out like her pic but doable enough. I knew I didn't want to see it after I hit it so I turned it into a pfp experience instead of a normal internet date. After lunch the conversation took a turn and I brought her back to my hotel. After accepting my sexual advances she pauses and says no she didn't feel comfortable. I come clean with her and tell her I am only here for a short amount of time so why don't we work something out so everybody is satisfied. I gently suggested I throw some soles in her pocket when she leaves. She has fun and leaves with a little something in her pocket...100 soles plus lunch. She agrees and gives me decent service then leaves.. never to be heard from again...sin compromiso.
Girl #3 Jenny- This girl was an absolute doll. She is a 21 year old little indian princess. She was the most adorable girl I spent time with. I asked her to come to my hotel sweaty from the gym so that I could lick her and when she did she smelled like strawberries. This one just can't get up a stink. That is how sweet she is.
The downside is she has a little daughter but who doesn't in lima? She made me so happy just to see her. She is one of those people that looks so cute you cant help but smile when she is around. I took her places in lima that she had never been because she was too scared. The way she clinged to my side was breathtaking. She is 21 I am almost 39. I doubt it would work but I 'd love to see her again and spend more time with her. I can't let too many emotions get involved due to the age difference. I can't open up to a 21 year old. It's just not my style.
Girl #4 Luz- 37 years old with a child but looks 26 years old...gave it up raw on date #2. This one gave me the drama on the 3rd date so I had to exhale and split on the scene. She owns a little health food store in surco.
She comes spends the day with me one day from 12pm until 7pm. I suddenly need to get out of my room and be by myself so I make some excuse about a phone call etc. She leaves.
On the next date she corners me and starts going on with where is this realationship going. You threw me out of your room the other day etc. She says she is wasting her time with me etc. I say no problem and start leaving.."don't leave!" it was way too much drama for me. I sent her an email saying I am sorry if I caused her any trouble. Finally it cooled down and we left on a good note.
Girl#5 silvana- Some girl sitting with her gay friend invites me over to their table. I sit with them for awhile then she starts saying she wants to take me here and there etc. etc.
She calls me before I can get to her makes a date and never shows up. Calls the next day to apologize that she didn't have the napkin with my number on it and makes another date. She doesn't show up for that one either.
Might I add that she went to school in america and maintains close contact with friends in america. The sad thing was this meant alot to me. It would have proved my ability to roll with the middle class and not prey on the low income girls. Obviously the level of respect is very different among more well to do girls...even in lima.
There were a few other girls I was chatting with that wimped out when it came down to it. Don't be surprised if someone you have been talking to suddenly disappears when you arrive. I even had girls email me asking how is lima going for me and never bothered to meet me. However for some reason they were still wanting to show their presence.
Again the online thing is great but feelings come into play and don't be surprised if the feelings that get hurt are yours! Also these girls know about guys like us coming down to do alot girls. They brought the topic up many time and I had to go through all sorts of bullshit to get out of it.
I still haven't gotten any action with on the spot pick up lines. The internet helped me alot to break the ice so when I did meet them I was pretty comfortable with them.
Oddly enough I don't think lima is an amazing pfp destination. Lima has alot to offer but as far as point and click pfp on a budget level I would have to say there are better places. The allure of lima to me is the entire package which includes some decent pfp cheap living good food and shopping...kind people.
I could see myself living in lima for sure. I would love to combine it with 3 months of the year in the DR or someplace esle during the winter months. The lack of heating would drive me nuts.
I figure to do it properly you would need a budget of $50 a day for daily expenses $800-1000 for an apartment on larcomar with an ocean view. $400($100 each weekend on top of the normal $50 a day) weekend money to spend on chicas drinks etc. On top of that another $1000 a month to spend on food ,supplies for the home, a maid and a little nest egg for your three months a year in the DR.
Bottom line $4000 a month would a pretty luxurious life in lima would it not? You could take girls out maintain your own and save.
I walked the streets of lima as if I was living there. Where would I ride my bike. How would I get groceries to my apartment. What bank
I would change to so that it would be more convenient to me. I saw all of thess things working out for me and I also know that I would most certainly meet a nice girl. My concerns are what does lima become when you aren't whoring or single? Do you need to maintain your single status to enjoy it? Is it really worth it at that point? There is no way you can live there and play these games forever. Lima is a small town and sooner or later you would get a bad reputation then no girl will want to be seen with you. Maybe I am wrong but this is what I felt.
Lima is a main airport hub which is another great thing. It has alot of downfalls that any big urban city has but the beauty of it is it also offers you the pleasures of such a city. Everything is very affordable. I already live in an urban shithole called nyc. The only difference is all the good stuff either doesn't exist anymore or is way too expensive. I live the urban nightmare and I can't even enjoy the benefits of it just the pitfalls. I am not happy here.
Question : Does anyone have any experience with receiving FedX packages from america? How reliable is FedX from nyc to lima?
I will make more and more trips to lima. I will do more research the next time I am there. I am very "lima" I can feel it in my heart.

I forgot to add that one day while walking in lince I came across a hotel called Hotel Princessa Sauna Spa. This is a 4 star (looks like a decent 3 star) hotel located on aveinda arenales around the corner from ave. arequipa. It is about a 10 minute combi ride direct to miraflores. I asked to be shown a room and was very impressed although it was a little expensive. Single rooms for $50 - 70 depending if you want a fridge or not. On site sauna and spa. I was told guests are allowed but always confirm this via email prior to arriving and print out a copy.
I mention this hotel because somtimes people come down last minute and the luisa or las palmas is filled up etc. I think this would be a good alternative at a reasonable price if you were left without a place in miraflores.

If you are in the centro area near plaza san martin at 2pm and want a surreal dining experience go to restaurante pena turistica "los mangolares de tumbes" However there are no tourists. They serve typical food from the tumbes region at around 27/30 soles a plate with great looking meat/seafood. They have a live group playing at 2pm everyday and the places is decorated like a jungle. It was like a scene right out of a movie. It is located at jr. Moquegua No 266 Lima Tel 426-5056 or 427-2549. Live shows at 2pm and 11pm
