Will be coming to Manila in the next few weeks. I am wondering if the guys who have been landing is the last week are gettting the new 30 day visa or the old 21 day visa? Thanks RED

I always get my US passport stamp on arrival didn't hear any thing will change, it been free 30 days stay for a long time. If the PI goverment start charging, no one will come to this shit hole of a country.

The islands all look sparse, Phil, Japan, Taiwan, UK, Ireland. But the Phil is probably the worst polluted.

The streets in Manila are very dusty and smoky, reeking of fresh sewage like shit.

With all untreated sewage in Manila dumped into the bay, Manila bay, near Ermita and the US embassy, smells just like an out house. Damn. Anyone swimming in that bay would probably has all his flesh rotted out and dropped off his bones.

I have never smell any beaches that smell that bad. Shit! The bay down further South near the airport and Mall of Asia smells a lot cleaner.

Why cant they skip a few other infrastructure investments and build a sewage treatment plant for Manila? Cant be that expensive.

BTW HONG KONG, Venice ect. All smell like sewage. Damn.

However, my Pinay honeys are all clean and smell good. That's why I keep coming back to Manila.

What do we do if we are staying longer than 30 days? I'll be in Phi for 50 days. Will I need to extend my visa mid trip or just handle it at the airport when I leave? How much will it cost me?

My last trip (June) EDSA bar share was 1950P and the girl wanted 5000P. The one in Makati processes it in a few hours. Visit the Immigration Department's website for all the details and locations.

Will be visiting Manila for the first time and hence looking for advice from experts here!

1. Girl friendly hotels. Company is paying so will stay either at Dusit Thani or New World. Are these certifiably girl friendly? I'm assuming they'll ask to register etc but hopefully won't refuse.

2. Been doing bit of research, reading TFF etc. Seems EDSA and MBC are the 2 best places around Makati for picking up girls. Any alternatives? Where do "non-professional" girls hang out?

3. Barfines seem to be around 1500 and LT 'tips' around 4-5k. Is that about right? Don't want to spoil the market by overpaying and I'm not a Japanese businessman anyway!

Finally, after a year and a half since my last visit to the Philippines, I am coming back (in late November). I plan on starting off in Manila and who knows after that. Last time I was there (spring 2012) I posted some reports about my experiences in Makati and Manila. Then, MBC and outside Starbucks / Havana were good places to meet someone. MBC seemed more like professional full time working girls and the girl I met outside Starbucks seemed more like an amateur (which is my preference). As I recall, I paid 2000 for a ST with the Starbucks girl and I can't remember how much for the MBC girls. I'll have to go through the posts here to see what the current rates are. I don't want to overpay. I read a post here where someone was quoted 5000p for a LT. That's a bit much. Anyway, I am glad to be coming back, now I can read the Phil forums without getting jealous.

I see another poster asked about girl friendly hotels in Makati. I'll be checking the posts about that as well. I can't decide if I should book at hotel in Makati (ie. Oxford suites) or in Malate / ermitai (I think last time I was in City Garden not far from MBC).
