I just joined the site, so I hope I am not breaking any form of etiquette by posting this question here.

My question may sound unusual: I am fortunate enough to have a wife who enjoys offering me the company of other women (either watching or participating, but to keep the matter simple we are not talking about participating here).

We will be in Japan a week from now and she would like to take me to a soapland. From what I understand it is difficult enough to get in as a gaijin if you don't speak a word of Japanese (as is our case). Is there any chance that we could manage to find a gaijin-friendly place that would let both of us in, with the understanding that she will only watch? (Okay, probably touch herself a bit, too, or even more if there is a chance but we don't want to complicate the discussion too much especially as regards the amount charged).

Also, we are looking for a place that offers FS, although we understand it may not be officially advertised.

If it sounds too unrealistic for both of us to just show up at the entrance of a recommended place, is there any that could be contacted electronically so the whole thing can be negotiated ahead of time? Or even some form of intermediary that could assist?

I am posting in the Tokyo forum because we will be there for the first part of our trip, but we will then go to Kyoto, so any recommendation there would also be welcome.

I do not think this is even remotely possible without a huge pile of money, a Japanese go-between to negotiate for you and a shop willing to take this on. The business is about transactions and this sort of transaction is extremely complicated and totally outside of the ordinary. I could be wrong but without Japanese skills you would never get past the front desk.

I think it could be possible in Yoshiwara . I live near there and recently walked around there. I will post a report.

Even if I take your more optimistic view, it seems like the probability of failure is very high due to the "out of the ordinary" aspect of trying to get a female third party in with me.

A safest bet I suppose would be to have service delivery in our hotel room (having a female presence in the room without her interfering unless invited to do so will hopefully not pose a problem to the girl). But then two issues:

(1) how easy is it to get something close to a soapland experience (full body to body slippery massage) in a hotel room?

(2) how can you have a guarantee (or at least very high level of confidence) that you get FS, when I suppose no service will put in in writing in any form of electronic exchange?

What would you think is my best bet (type of service to contact, specific things to ask) to address (1) and (2) in the best possible way?

A massage of this type would require a drained floor for all the water that needs to be used. The average hotel bathroom would be much too small for the purpose. Perhaps some love hotels have better facilities.

Perhaps advertising for (or looking for existing) contacts on Craiglist or similar might get results, although you cutting it fine now.

Hahupar. If looking for that experience outside of a soapland, there are a few love hotels in Shibuya that offer though types of bathrooms along with mat. Bring your own gel! Usually these rooms are on the top floors. Just check out the menu in the front lobby. I believe Hotel "White Box" has one of the better ones as it's somewhat like being on a ship inside though the bathroom is massive. There are many service providers in the area though since you don't speak the language, you might have to order from a site like Asian Mystique, etc.
