I was in Pattaya last weekend for three days, from 14th to 17th. The primary reason was to attend a Christmas party on Saturday 15. I decided to go down a day earlier with a friend who also lives in Bangkok. Checked in to a very nice guest house in Soi Buakao called Patama's place around 1 pm. Pretty standard kind of room, food is very good and they do have a large wine selection. I prefer staying in this area as it is a lot quieter than Walking street or beach road.

After walking through the market at the end of Soi Buakao and my friend failing to buy a shirt for the following night we headed to the Thai river restaurant on second road. This is one of my favourite places to eat in Pattaya, the quality of the food and service has never disappointed and all at a very reasonable price. We got there just after 4 pm so it was very quiet however in the evening they have traditional Thai dance and music shows. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Pattaya. After eating we decided to make our way down to Soi 6 (naturally) , but chose to walk as opposed to taking a bike or baht bus.

After going into the Lord Nelson for a couple of coke's and then a couple of red bulls we took a slow walk down the whole length of Soi 6. At the last bar on the right hand side my friend was recognized by one of the girls sitting outside who called out to us with a very welcoming smile. After a brief exchange in we both went. Until recently all the girls I have been picking have been very slim with small breasts so I decided to introduce a bit of variety. The girl I selected fitted the bill perfectly. She had a very pretty face, beautiful smile and eyes and fairly big tits with a nice round arse. She did have a bit of a belly on her but as I said earlier this is what I was looking for. She said she was 26 and looking at her I had no reason to doubt her.

After a couple of drinks at the bar it was off upstairs to the ST rooms. The place only had one shower (at least on the floor we were on) so a bit of a delay had to be endured, no worries. After getting cleaned up it was down to business. My friend was in the next room and the walls were so shit you could hear the odd noise. Rather than being embarrassed we both decided to see the funny side of this and had a good laugh. Overall the service was very good, I decided to skip the DATY and did have to ask her to extend the BBBJ time but apart from that I was very happy with her performance. Total damage was 1000 to her. 350 for the room for one hour and 6-700 for drinks. Subsequently someone told me the bar was called the Halifax (I think). Soi 6 is a unique place to visit and I always drop by there when I am in Pattaya

After a nice pizza and pasta meal, and being upgraded to a much better room because of a double booking, we decided to start off the evening at Soi 7 and gradually make our way towards Walking street. First go-go we stopped at was sexy lady, because it was our first port of call and still early we were not intending to bar-fine anyone at this point. There were two ladies dancing naked and for some reason I felt sorry for one of them, I cannot explain why but she had a sad look on her face so I thought the least I can do is buy her a drink, which I did as we were leaving.

We jumped on a baht bus and made our way towards walking street. My mate had never actually walked along Beach road so we jumped off the bus and walked the last 10 minutes or so. I have never actually taken a freelancer from here but I have to admit there were quite a few I saw that I would have no hesitation taking back to my abode. Walking street seemed to have more families and non-mongers than I remember from previous visit's. We went to Spanky's in Soi Diamond. The line up of ladies was very impressive indeed and there seemed to be more enthusiasm put into the shows than I have seen in other go-go's.

I was not tempted to take a lady as I knew the guy who owns both the Spanky's in Bangkok and Pattaya would be at the party the following night and we would end up back at Soi Diamond the next night. As we left I mentioned to my friend that the dancer from sexy lady was still on my mind so after some deliberation we decided to head back there with the intention of bar-fining her. As we walked towards the go-go I joked to my friend that when we walked in she would quite probably be sitting there with a customer! Guess what, she was. To be honest I was genuinely pleased for her that she was making some money with her client and he was not being shy about buying her drinks. We decided to take a walk back towards Soi Buakao and stopped in at one of the open beer bars, apparently this was Soi Cassicom.

After a few games of pool I mentioned bar fine to the girl I was playing with and she had no hesitation in agreeing. My mate had been talking to a pretty young girl who turned out to be the GF of the German guy who owned the bar (not there at the time) so a BF for her was out of the question. BF was 300 and I can't remember how much the drinks came to, not much as I had only bought 3 for each of us. I did want to drop into Lolitta's in LK Metro to see the guy who runs the place but got sidetracked. He is a very pleasant American guy who I was introduced to back in April, extremely personable chap who also does a sterling job running the place. Actually it is a pity he does not post on here, or if he does it is done covertly. Come to think of it he is the type of guy that would probably pick a handle along the lines of a double barreled canine sounding name, you know the sort of thing one wild and one domesticated. He is quite busy so probably wouldn't have a lot of time to post, if he hypothetically did I would think he would have something like 16 posts at a guess. Anyway I would recommend going to Lolitta's if you find yourself in that area. If he is there I feel sure he would be happy to shoot the breeze with you.

The lady I bar-fined was a slightly fuller frame than I am normally attracted to, but she turned out to be a very good find by luck rather than judgement. We seemed to have a good rapport going with a sprinkling of humour. Her English was fairly basic and my Thai is shocking, however we got on very well. The highlight was her BJ technique. I think this was one of those lucky moments where her technique just happened to fit perfectly with what I like. We had agreed on 1500 baht LT but I had already decided she was worth a 500 baht tip. Pretty good start to the weekend and still two days to go. Went to sleep around 3:30, will post day two's proceedings tomorrow.

If you walk up the street that the Penthouse hotel is on then turn left onto second road and walk for about 5 minutes you see a large sign of a map of Italy on the right hand side of the road. About half way between this sign and that Ripley's amazing world place (or something like that) there is a large sign again on the right hand sign saying "Thai river restaurant", which is neon after dark. It is easy to miss, the actual restaurant is set back from the main road about 30-40 meters. Sorry for the sketchy directions but I never really stopped to think what street it is opposite or any land marks close by. I hope this will be enough for you to locate the place and I would thoroughly recommend going after 8 pm as they will have the traditional Thai music and dance shows. Enjoy.

Hands up I am not speaking from personal experience. I have been told by friends of friends that they have, on occasions, had stuff taken from their rooms by a BR lady. Similar stories of disease have been recounted. Before anyone jumps all over this I admit the information is second or third person.

To put this into perspective I am not suggesting every girl who works BR is a raging thief and riddled with disease, some are just as good looking and trustworthy as a girl from a MP or go-go and a damn site cheaper. Some simply prefer the freedom of freelancing, they can come and go as they please, work when they want and take time off when they want. The difference with a go-go girl is if she steals from you you always have the recourse of going back to where she works, you do not have this with a street worker. Based on personal experience of girls from the beer bars giving better service / attitude than go-go's I would guess it may well follow the BR girls probably try a lot harder to please than a lot of go-go bar girls.
