AL.[/QUOTE]Great advice. I would just add don't reveal your real name or hotel room over wechat. Meet them out front, or better yet, lobby of nextdoor hotel. I take them in through the garage so no registration. Not perfect, but I'm all about minimizing risk.

I just got a last minute assignment in Shanghai staying at the Quanji Hotel in the same building as SiYuan hope they are still open for business.

Originally planned to stay at Bodi, but they are apparently fully booked this weekend.

Haven't followed the forum for quite some time, so I guess a lot of my past knowledge is no longer applicable.

OK, I can cobfirm SiYuan is closed with a sign that says waterpipe malfunction.

Will try my luck at Bodi.

Bodi Sauna is also out.

Now the sauna section is this weird personal movie theater and foot spa, the prices suggest it is legit.

The receptionist emphasized they have no relationship with the former tenant or club management.

Bummer.

I tried my luck again at the Xinghewan Resort and Club.

I have not actually been to. The club but I heard good things as recent as last year.

But neither the hotel or club house staff were helpful claiming the spa is under renovation.

I must not have the secret handshake or password of sorts.

As a general rule I don't like to bring ladies to my hotel so I guess I am out of luck tonight.

Guess I came at a really bad time to stop by Shanghai, at least in Hefei I know establishments that are open for business.

Even though girl selection or service standard is way below what I was accustomed to. In Shanghai.

Shanghai is on total lock down. There are places which open from time to time but going there is like playing the russian roulette because its highly possible you'll end up in detention.

Bummer.[/QUOTE]I posted earlier in the year complete information about the closure of Bodi. I will be going to Shanghai the end of October, and will likely just check out the well known clubs, and see what the action is like. It's too bad because the spas in Shanghai are / were awesome.

The spas in Shanghai were really fun back then, I will miss these fine establishments.

Heck I even dug up my old membership card from 999 (which I know is gone for awhile) in case I needed to prove to the bouncers at Bodi / SiYuan that I am an old customer.

On a side note, I was approached by pimps / touts at my hotel as well as the Intercontinental right across the street.

Judging by their interaction with the hotel staff, I think it is probably safe to assume the hotel management is probably turning a blind eye.

Heck, one of the touts were actually a 8. 5 in my book that I almost responded with something along the lines of how about you.

But I also heard too many bait and switch turns into extortion stories besides I simply don't feel comfortable bringing working girls to where I stay.

I will be visiting Shanghai for the 1st time in a few weeks. Any advice for incall massage places? I don't know where to look.

It is too bad because Bodi was the best. Nice sauna room, big jacuzzi, provided beers, relaxing atmosphere, and I still have such fond memories of Miss 964.

You will not be allowed to take girls out directly from the establishment and some are / were closing earlier to avoid the crackdown. This news is almost a month old and so I am not sure what the current circumstance is like. My source is someone working at a KTV.

With that said, you can get the girls wechat and work something out on the girls own time.

Puritanism will not last. Good luck on trying to outlaw human desire. Until then, I will take my mongering elsewhere.
