sorry i had been away for while and not been contributing to mongering intelligence (mostly due to lack of it) , but i see that a fair and accurate presentation of information gained from two encounters (1mp-disturbing klpd at lo#na blo#om and 1 so-so fs at b#igade s#a) i had in the interregnum has already been made in the forum by other members.

searched for fbm on jd and fell hook, line and sinker for the enticing name. called number to gauge response and was impressed with the female voice that spoke reasonably good english, responded very cleverly to my questions regarding service and instructed me in passing to bring id. very innocently, i concluded that the place was classy, booked an appointment for some exotic sounding massage, took a cab to the place and rubbed my hands in gleeful anticipation. there were frequent (every 20 mins) but polite calls asking me where i reached and guiding me to the place.

reached the place, which looked new but make-shift and an equally un-aesthetic (still can't bring myself to say nasty words like ugly) ne was manning the reception. my demeanour then shifted involuntarily from (cultivated) sophistication to thuggish to suit the ambience, but decided to go ahead with the experience anyhow. i'd was taken, copied and returned and was asked to fill out a form. another guy in his 40s (may also be a member here) was waiting after having sheepishly completing the 'formalities'. two ne 'therapists' (yeah right! and i'm santa claus) walked in to the hall where we were seated. one of them was pretty (and she knew it) and the other looked unwashed and disheveled. luckily (it seemed then) , i was assigned the pretty therapist, who then measured and recorded my height and weight. it must be my sick mind but she seemed extra warm and nice to me. the other guy, glancing alternately at ms. pretty and ms. unwashed to whom he was assigned, looking at me with unabashed envy and i restrained myself from letting out an 'accomplished' smirk.

ms. p, who was graceful, led me to the massage area (a bare hall / dorm segregated by full length curtains) which didn't look anything like the images they had on their website; but ms. p had my undivided attention and everything else diffused out of focus. obediently changed into disposable as (gently) instructed by ms. p and lay down on a straw mat on the floor. ms. p entered after ensuring (in her own sweet way) that i had changed without any fuss and started the massage in a very professional manner. tried to make conversation with her but being the well behaved girl that she was, i couldn't tell at first if she was shy or uninterested. however, in time and with a few compliments, my goofy self did manage to elicit a few smiles which lit up her pretty face and (presto!) there was dialogue. when i thought the time was right, i dropped the bomb with my query on extras, which was summarily dismissed. took no for the answer and didn't pursue the matter any further as i just cannot impose myself on unwilling women.

feeling bad for me or because she thought she owed me an explanation, in a hushed voice, she told me her name was "cali", that she was a graduate in literature from nagaland, that she had unknowingly taken up employment there intending it to be short term, that she had only recently undergone a 2 week course in massage therapy arranged for by the owner of the place, that she didn't care for money and that she was thoroughly unhappy with the job, that while she didn't know about other girls there, she never gives 'extras', that the owner is an exploitative, powerful, well-connected man who is controlling their lives even after work hours, that he ruthlessly subjugates voices of dissent, protest and resignation by intimidation and threat of imprisonment for breach of service contract and that she is planning to give him the slip using the very first opportunity that came her way. i respected her for her resilience in the face of adversity and deprecated myself for lusting after a fellow living being so pushed to a corner and robbed of basic liberties. as i felt her grievances were genuine, offered her my no. and promised support if she needed it. as this happened more than a month ago and although i feel as guilty as the vermin that runs the place ought to, i fervently hope she has safely moved on to a better life.

as i feel it would be uncharitable to rate the girl and the massage, here is the score card bereft of those ratings-

place: looks new but make-shift and temporary.

ambience and amenities: poor.

damage: rs. 1200 (counter) + rs. 300 (tip)

I agree with you. Lots of numbers in locanto. I had gone yesterday by calling a number (ends with 115) that claims a place in BTM. They will ask you to come to Central or G Mall and guide you from there. It is a building on the road-side. Though they will promise 1-2 hours, after you enter the room they will start knocking the door after 10-15 minutes. I think, if you go regularly and develop some rapport with the SP you will get more time in the future.
