I have a 1 year lease for a very nice apartment in HCMC. Roughly $1000 per month. I'm an American that works remotely. PM me if you want to do a condo / apt swap and swap info about women (1-2 months in Aug / Sep)

Actually, I only have GF type intros in HCMC, BUT also a lot of good "black-box" ideas and places if you want to trade, even if home-swap is not in the offering. I'm late 40 ish, considered very attractive by SEA women, and I only say that to give you an idea of who I can introduce. The question I have is, does Idul Fitri mean the end of Ramadan and any accompanying nonsense? That is, do the disruptions to normal vices end now and do the girls get back to normal? Or are things toned down for awhile? Someone mentioned this is when the fresh new girls migrate to the city.

Also, does these Muslim holidays have any impact on Bali? I understand Bali is mostly Hindu, but the working girls are said to be mostly girls from Java, Muslim?

I just started a new job last week and I don't see myself mongering for a year. But, when that year is up I want to be sitting on a plane to Asia! And yes I know that Ramadan fluctuates and is not fixed to a hard date, but that is what Google is for. Looks like it is over on June 16 next year. Your advice please.

One thing I have noticed in the last few days in Jakarta post Idul Fitri is lots of squashed rats. I can't work out if it's just because there's less cars covering them up or they get less cautious when the traffic eases. OS.

Most left about 1-2 weeks following the start to go home to ancestral villages to reunite with grandparents and extended family. Of the six I am thinking of two will return this week and four will come back around the 10th of July. So about 2 weeks after Labaran / Idul Fitri. Not sure if that's typical but there are 6 data points for you. My guess is that most of the clubs will be open this weekend, but I'm sure smoothy will give us the local report if he is in the city.

I will say having those phone numbers did insure that I had sufficient female company on my two mid-Ramadan visits. I am amazed at how often I can be introduced / set-up with a new girl by an existing girl. I think they pimp each other just a little bit. Or, its more of a referral fee. For a very modest amount of money, we spend the entire day into the early night naked together. We stopped for a very late lunch. Long story short, she invited me to Jakarta in July for the month. There are lots of tall office buildings and big shopping malls near, but I think that's going to be the case regardless of where you stay in Jakarta.

Is it my favorite area to hang out? No. Although it has offices and malls in the area, it's not a particularly nice area of town. My favorite areas for hanging out are the more upscale parts of Jakarta, but those areas are nowhere near the sex spots in town. It depends what you want from your 2 months in town, easy access to the brothels or a nice environment. They are mutually exclusive in Jakarta. The areas with the brothels are all pretty much dirty and crappy relative to the areas where you will not find brothels. However, for fairly cheap sex with hot young girls on a daily basis, it's a hard area to beat Kelapa Gading. The other area to hang out for sex would be near Hotel Classic. That is more centrally located. Traffic is a major concern in Jakarta as it takes a long time to get anywhere during the day. If you plan to hang out almost exclusively at Kelapa Gading, then I would for sure stay near there. If you plan to get around to other parts of town often, KG is a bit far away so I would stay elsewhere.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]Which office buildings? If you're working remotely (not sure why that's in quotes), get a good internet wherever you stay. Due to traffic, any sort of commute is a huge hassle in Jakarta, unless you're right next to where you need to go, as in, walking distance, under 500 m -- sidewalks tend to be atrocious too, and it's messy when it rains.

As for much to offer, this is a girl forum. Jakarta is not high up the list of the world's most livable city, but it's huge, and has all that big cities do (even if it's a bit hard to access) -- a vibrant music scene, some decent food and so on -- all depends on what you're interested in.

Why Jakarta and not Bali, though? The only thing I'd recommend Jakarta for over Bali is great accessibility of regular girls (non-pros). Plenty of pros too (and cheap), but unlike Pattaya, for instance, the scene isn't quite as relaxed or enjoyable for browsing.

Is this open in the afternoon for any type of action or is in only in the evenings?
