I split up my bankroll and hide it 8 to 10 places between all my belongings and me. So that even if I was robbed they would probably find one stash and think that is THE stash. This system now works so well for me I prefer to use it over the lock boxes excpet when I'm in Medellin and renting longer term. And even then I still keep several stashes separate from the lock box. Something unsettling about having everything in one metal box screwed to a shelf exactly where a thief would know to target.

Like others here my trip to LOS (land of smiles) was cancelled so looking at other possibilities. I've been to Rio back in the days of Disco Help but not since 2004. Never been to Sao Paulo but looking forward to visiting the nightclubs you mentioned. Could someone tell me the similar places in Rio other than Casablanca? I've read the last ten pages of Rio forum but don't see much mentioned on nightclubs. I'll be visitng both cities over a few weeks time. I'm not into the termas as much as nightclubs unless they've changed since 2004.

Common wisdom that you go to Rio for Termas and SP for Boates and SP is far superior for the girl scene in general prevails.

I can't recall your tolerance for playing the Sugar Baby game but I would try my hand at that for evenings in Rio. Beachside dining and overnights with hotties in Rio sounds divine to me (see my recent Seeking Arrangements thread FR. This was USA but you get the idea). As far as finding negras and mulattas, I will reiterate I have not noticed big disparities in the numbers between the two cities. These are both huge cities only separated by 200 miles. I myself generally don't run around Brazil looking for fair-skinned blondes either.

I wouldn't overanalyze the decision and just visit both cities.

One would suspect the city of Rio wants it that way. There are a smattering of girls in a few nightlife venues.

Some of my buddies don't care for termas. Some hate the brothel set-up and / or waiting in line to fuck in small rooms. We try to meet up with cool termas girls outside the termas. We also like to socialize in the termas bar with the girls. Granted, it's not the same as a club.

Change condoms each time before you go from the pussy to the ass and vice versa. I have been skipping around the SP thread's more recent reports. There really hasn't been a great deal of explicit comparisons of the negras and mulattas populations between Sao Paulo and Rio so far. I have read more reports that mention negras in the prives in the Rio thread than the reports I've read in the SP thread. I have also been basing my assumption that Rio has a greater negras population on the selection of ads on Photo.

The reason why I opened up my question about a comparison between the two cities is largely because my biggest concern was the availability of negras and mulattas in SP. I had read through many of Rovnak's posts (apologies for name dropping. If you stumble across this post and would not like your name associated with it, Rovnak, please PM me and I will delete this) and saw his opinion (post #7847 made on 01-21-17) on the debate between the two cities. He stated that SP had larger top-end and medium-end clubs compared to Rio. He stated that SP was much more late-night friendly, with significant discounts possibly being available later in the night. He stated that SP's days of operation were M-Sat, with some available on Sunday, while Rio was typically M-F. He stated that takeout is an option in the top clubs of SP, while it is not an option in the top clubs of Rio.

After reading through Rovnak's breakdown of SP vs Rio, I more or less believe SP has the more ideal setup. It might be foolish to base this on just one person's information, but I have read a good amount of Rovnak's posts (his breakdown on how select and vet from Photo was very informative) and trust his expertise enough to place a lot of weight on his opinion. I have also spoken to other vet mongers who more or less corroborated his take. The only piece that was missing from his report was a comparison between the negras and mulattas populations from the two cities. I probably sound like a broken record at this point, but that is a big enough factor to influence which city I would choose as my maiden trip.

Wyatt, you have been a great help both through PMs and on the forum, and I have also read through many of your posts on this board and the Rio board. I have taken your advice to heart, but I also do not believe I would have the time or money to explore both cities, so I am trying my best to take in as much info as I can to make a decision.

The Cane has also been a great help and has contributed a lot on both boards as well. Apologies to both of you guys if I still haven't met your standards of RTFF. I am still in the process of RTFF. There is a lot of ground to cover. My questions were posted because I have not really seen enough reports answering the negras and mulattas question to form a clear consensus on which city has the better selection or if the difference was insignificant enough to be inconsequential. If you have answered it previously, or if you know of specific reports that have answered the question previously, it would be a big help if you could point them out to me.
