I'm new here well not to new first time writing anything. I will travel to the Philippines in March and will stay in Mandaluyong, Manila. Can anyone tell me about that place? You may want to walk in the street out of traffic, because the sidewalk along these areas of Adriatico and Romero Salas are narrow and usually have lots of panhandlers and persistent street merchants. Just be observant about vehicles approaching from behind you, including motorcycles. Two blocks on Salas, and you are at del Pilar; MBC is on the far right corner.

Slip's directions to MBC were correct; but Eurotel is, as RK describes, across from the Pedro Gil entrance. TGIF and National Bookstore also have exterior doors that open to the Pedro Gil side. Padre Faura is to the North, Burger King and Adriatico are to the West, and Pedro Gil and Eurotel are to the South.

In days gone by I used to see FLs hanging out at the edges of McDonald's, Kenny Roger's, and the all-you-can-eat place near the beginning of the Padre Faura wing-assuming it's still there.

Nowadays the FLs are not so obvious hanging around so I guess security must have instructions to move them along.

Always a few hanging around near the foot of the escalators inside the Pedro Gil door, but you need to watch for the tell-tale signs as many other women use that spot as a rendezvous point to meet chat mates or friends.

There are a couple of women who I see walking around the mall every time I visit, but I have never seen them with any guys nor have they ever taken any interest in me (OK. No smart retorts please).

If I have a meeting arranged I always move it to either Level 2 or along to the front of National Book Store or even inside UCC Coffee as that moves them away from looking like a pick-up option.

I just wish some of the old "Westerners" (and South Asians et al.) would not leer at passing women so much.

It's a good situation because you can insist on meter only and keep moving along until you find one, but add on 20 php or so because it is a very slow time for these guys.

For each age there are around 800-1,000 girls that have logged on in a weeks time.

Maybe I haven't spent a lot of time on DIA to run the exact numbers.

How stupid can DIA be only allowing 1 bloody picture? Not only do girls use angled deceptive pictures, some even use completely fake pictures. On FC they will normally always have 1 picture in the group that gives them away.

I find FC to be far superior and user friendly than DIA. Love how I can see all the girls pictures without leaving the search page, love how I can add them to my favorites and see it in the search so to not click on them twice, love how I can send out the same copied and paste message etc.

And love walking the malls, and looking at the lovely sights.

I enjoy the smiles, and giggles as I pass.
