I have walked across border at San Ysidro both directions many times. But not after the March covid shutdown. I am a US citizen with Global Entry (so I use Sentri lane).

I know officially you are not allowed to go to Mexico for non essential travel. But obviously you pros have done this a lot.

How difficult is it to walk across border at San Ysidro during Covid season- do they ask a lot of questions?

Can I just say I am going to see a dentist or do I need a more sophisticated answer?

How difficult is it to get back to USA. Do the US border officials ask a lot of questions on WHY you were in Mexico during Covid season?

I want to make my first trip to Mexico (walk across border) and want to ensure I have a smooth experience.

Was in La Zona Wed night 6 PM. HK guys at front door, said HK was busted again on 7th floor; it has a new location with beers only $1. 5. he swore. He will drive us there. So we went on his tuk tuk.

It's on Constitucion, a tin door about 5 doors South of bar Malquierida. Security guys patted us down, read temp and sprayed germicide. We walked up the stairs then descended into a parking lot in the backyard covered by a large tent. Couches, tables, dance poles were under the canopy. Music was playing, girls were stripping. The bar was in the basement of that seedy hotel next to the tent.

There were about 80 girls, mostly wearing party dresses and about same number of guys. The girls were all new a few very attractive. I recognized only Pasha. She has not worked in HK for a few years. The girls were flirting, trying to attract us. They seem to be desperate, not doing a whole lot of business. A lot of old HK's meseros were working. They all looked glum. Beers were 30 pesos or $1.50; fichas 120 pesos or $6. Looks like HK is desperately trying to regain its business.

My wingman was sitting with a couple girls. They all seem hungry, working hard to hook guys. One girl from Sonora just had a baby 1-month old. She was lactating through her dress. She left the baby with her parents and followed her friends to HK to make some money quick. We felt really sorry for her.

Had a fun time for a night.

Even when your familiar old-timer Tijuana girls, who talk to you often, take the $50 deals, they would give you a very rush job, like 5 minutes of pumping, then they push your away, bitching about pains and such.

I think there are a few new guys who would jump at the chicas' first $100 offers. So they all dream of making quick and big money. They get turned down a lot, but they never learn, like they are high-class so they command high prices. Their haughty attitudes just piss me off and I don't want to spend money on them. HK is in big troubles with the state, raided, shut down, moved to a new place in the parking lot of a rundown hotel and reduced prices down to 20%. I will try to strike deals with a few of the prettiest, classiest girls to see if they have changed their attitudes.

Meanwhile there are over a hundred girls on the street, many nice, sweet, young, pretty, including many ex HK and Adelita girls, who would do sessions with friendly and sexy attitudes for $25, in the same hotels that cost $5. A guess, is half the woman in hk would take 60,5 years ago, if you don't count the top 10% woman. So a lot options. Then everyone got greedy. Mostly due to guys with money to burn. Why have sex for 60 when most will pay 90. Some girls will be 100 firm. The clubs were crowded 7 days a week 20 hours a day. The HK coupons got worse the VIP card got more expensive the hotels went up a bit. In the end, the mexixqn prices kinda went out the window. I can walk into queens nyc Asian places have table shower massage sex for 100. In hk it cost me 150 by the time I buy her a drink tip the door man and room guy and pay for the room.

The night life is not as wild as Tijuana even before COVID, they do have a few strip joints that are open you can check out, also Papas and Beer is a popular tourist destination.

Slightly busier on the weekend. Way overpriced. I packed up and moved to Tijuana and loved it. Rosarito is would be ok for a weekend if you take a chick, but to look for girls you will probably be disappointed.
