First try the food, then reject it! Go back and take a fresh look, then condemn the place, that's what I say.

I recently visited Palace after a year so absence. Like you, I got fed up / pissed off with the place over the last year or so, but: Never say "Never."

When I went (on a Monday night no less) about a month ago, I was just blown away by the talent (and numbers of girls) there. I went back the next night and the line-up was even better, and it seemed that there was an approximately 50% turn over of different girls from one night to the next. More than once I said to myself: The last time I saw a club vibe and line-up like this was, well, Altenstadt! I was truely surpised.

I don't know if the managment changed or what, but even after 15 minutes there I could tell this was not the same Palace. Something in the air seemed to smell of positive change. I can't define it really.

Sure there are some Sharks there, maybe a few more than in other clubs, but just like anywhere else an experienced Deutsch-sprecher-monger like you can easily navigate through the few female-land-mines there. Really they are so obvious you can spot them a mile away. No problems at all to find the several honest gems that are there amongst the "bad apples." As on this board have often said: You can avoid the sharks and embrace the "good girls" if you know how to play the game. Even if you don't, just read here, or some of the German boards, (which is something you do all the time, right?) and you can figure out a few good choices. Natasha, petite Russian, for example, gets pretty consistent positive reviews. She is just one girl at Palace that will still give you a good honest session for a 50-note. There are others too.

Having said that, I still like Oase (and World) better: I just get overall feelings and vibes at these two. But I've changed my attitude a bit towards Palace and will certainly not write it off the way I used to. I really do like the rooms at Palace and I've come to realise now that, for me, at least, the Zimmer quality does impact the session quality somewhat. I mean I have so much more fun when the Zimmer has a nice furniture set up, changable lighting, and great mirrors. Some rooms at Oase have great mirrors for sure, but the furniture set up (and ventelation) is pathetic compared to, say, Palace. So I'm starting to get a bit pissed off now with the low quality of Zimmer at Oase and World. This became alot more prominent concern to me when I revisited Palace and then went back to O or W.

Old debate with the same results. Enjoy the place with my blessings, my friend. When Klaus retires, or has a coronary then I might go back. Till then, I'll continue to express my opinions of the "Palace Standard" with my feet and my Euros. Thereby avoiding follicle combustion. ;)

All sessions included DFK, DATY, BBBJ (1x CIM). All sessions were at standard prices. No upselling. No discussions about timing or pricing.

I heard a lot of girls had to leave. Still some pushy sharky girls around, but easily to identify. Mostly girls who thought I was a newbie. So. For the experienced clubber Palace shouod be OK. Athough service levels at the other Hessen clubs remain more reliable and higher in average.

I'd say about 2/3 of the girls at Palace know who I am (they don't know me by my ISG-nickname but by my real name). But I had about half a dozen girls approach me with "How are you? This is your first time at Palace?" Most of them were not my type, elder German working girls who seemed to have come to Palce directly from Herbertstrasse in Hamburg.

I've been to Palace max. 4 times last year. So "home" for me is Oase, World, Sharks and Mainhattan. In at order.

It was midweek late afternoon & the place was dead. Girls were getting more & more desperate as the hours went by & not many clients to pick from.
