You will need a CPF to register the phone to get to it to work. Reading and speaking Portuguese definitely makes it easier.

I will give you guys a background on me, I have not been in Rio for almost 4 Years, last time I was there was in March 2010.

First impressions is everything is pretty much the same, the price of everything has gone up, so guys make sure you bring a lot of money, even though the exchange rate between the USA dollar and Brazil Real is better than in 2010 when I was last there, everything has gone up, Rio De Janerio is still worth the trip,

The only thing that keeps Brazil alive is the sex. Balcony is the only spot open at night catering to late night party mongers, thus the fuglies consider this as their competitive advantage and show up. I think they are the reason that hot girls have moved elsewhere.
