Chelevas still have girls in sashes. These sash girls could be confused for standing outside HK since the two clubs are adjacent. When I went to Tijuana a few years back I'm sure I just walked across (after parking on the US side in a commercial lot). Nothing in the way of passport control, nothing. So what is the drill on entry now, particularly, on foot?

Just walk in as usual. Someone will be there to direct you to the proper place. Bring your passpot.

You will have two choices. First, a 7-day visa, which is free but is not intended for multiple entries. Second, a 180-day visa, which costs about $20 and can be used for multiple entries.

I bought the 180-day visa and it took about 10 minutes. For subseqent entries I just showed my visa and was waved through.

It simply isn't a problem.

Edit: Depending on when you last visited, the entrance may have moved. It is now east of the trolley.

For the newbies who have not learn any Spanish, it's the equivalent of pointing to your dick and say to a CHP officer: 'Suck my dick, asshole."

Parking lots in La Zona are all secured day and night so there should be no problem. In the US you should park at the lots that require paying on exit. That way the thieves are less likely to steal your cars.

Parking:

I parked at the Ueta parking lot for two days; cost was $14.00. The Ueta store is closed, but the parking lot is still open. When I left, I asked the attendant when the lot would close. He said he thinks it might close in January, but maybe earlier, like December.

Crossing:

I have the 180 day visa so I had no issues. I saw at least 4 Asian tour groups, and two of the groups were in line waiting to get their 7 day visa, I felt bad for them; NOT!

Hotel:

I stayed at the Ticuan. The staff is outstanding, and the food and drinks are pretty good as well. They have new placards all over the place. One side the card states, "No Smoking" and the other states, "Not Candles?" My only gripe with the hotel are the hard ass pillows!

I had dates set up for both nights of the Tequila Expo; both canceled. No worries, there are plenty of other options in Tijuana. I walked down Constitucion to look for the pharmacy next to 7-11 on Segundo. I ran into another Asian tour group. They were snapping photos, so I took my own photo. As I was sitting in the back upper section, another Asian tour group piled in and took all the remaining booths around me. I find it very hard to believe that a group of Asian tourists would actually be snapping photos. That seems highly unlikely to me based on my travel experiences.

The groups that slowly walk through the Alley snapping photos away always makes me snicker. Have seen that for years on end now, noticed it around 2011, but sure they did that before that but never seen or noticed it before. They do it in the HK snapping away before they get the boot when people complain. I myself do not want to be in some tourist photos without my dick being in the shot. Tom was right to ***** about it, sure it may seem petty but then its not you that was being annoyed. People act tuff on boards but are mostly little girls in real life.
