A question on current entry requirements
When I went to Tijuana a few years back I'm sure I just walked across (after parking on the US side in a commercial lot). Nothing in the way of passport control, nothing. So what is the drill on entry now, particularly, on foot?
Thanks in advance, and sorry if this has been discussed to death already.

Weekend / Tequila Expo Trip Report
Parking:
I parked at the Ueta parking lot for two days; cost was $14.00. The Ueta store is closed, but the parking lot is still open. When I left, I asked the attendant when the lot would close. He said he thinks it might close in January, but maybe earlier, like December.
Crossing:
I have the 180 day visa so I had no issues. I saw at least 4 Asian tour groups, and two of the groups were in line waiting to get their 7 day visa, I felt bad for them; NOT!
Hotel:
I stayed at the Ticuan. The staff is outstanding, and the food and drinks are pretty good as well. They have new placards all over the place. One side the card states, "No Smoking" and the other states, "Not Candles?" My only gripe with the hotel are the hard ass pillows!
I had dates set up for both nights of the Tequila Expo; both canceled. No worries, there are plenty of other options in Tijuana. I walked down Constitucion to look for the pharmacy next to 7-11 on Segundo. I ran into another Asian tour group. They were snapping photos, so I took my own photo. Scored some genetic Viagra, and then to was off to the taco stand, and then to HK.
As I was sitting in the back upper section, another Asian tour group piled in and took all the remaining booths around me. One of the Asian women, she decided to stand right in front of me blocking my view. I told my mesero, Fredy, to remove the * and he did. Then, several of them started taking photos with their cell phones of the dancers. I told a couple of the meseros what they were doing. Within less than 5 minutes, one of the managers came over and threw the entire group out of the club. I felt bad: NOT! If I can get thrown out for taking photos, fuck the tour group, they can get tossed as well.
Usually, I buy Fredy and I a shot of Tequila. But he got a bit too comfortable. I held my finger up for another drink; one drink. He brought over two drinks. I gave him 70 pesos for my drink and he asked what about my drink. I told him a wanted one drink, only one for me. I said, "You just bought your own drink * As he was drinking his drink, I kept asking, "How's that drink? Does it taste good?" I also reminded him that he could easily be replaced; he got the message!
Out in the alley, I ran into Artistyp and we decided to go have dinner at Chan's Bistro. It was a good call on the restaurant. The food was great. Disclosure: NO dog was harmed in the making of our meal!
I walked over to BT and ran into Chris Long. He recommended one of the cuties, so I took her across to the HK hotel. To confirm what some have reported, it is now $17.00 for 30 minutes. She was fun, but not fun enough to repeat. After I made a run though AB, the place was packed. I then went through BG and I had 2 girls asked me, "Me recuerdas?" and of course I didn't.
Artistyp, Chris Long, and I all ended up meeting at CC. There was a few new girls there, but very few customers to be entertained by the girls. I drank with a couple of them. I then received a text from one of my HK friends. She said that she did not feel like working until 7 am, and to come by to get her so she could hang out with me at the Ticuan.
I went into to HK at 11 pm on a Friday night; it sucked! Every damn booth was taken! The place was packed! My friend and I ended up on the top floor where only two booths were available. After a couple of drinks, she went to the office to get excused for the rest of her shift. I met her down the alley by Malguerida 15 minutes later and then we headed to the Ticuan.
At the hotel, we just played a bit, but I could tell that she was tired. I told her to get dressed and go home and be with her children. She told me that her children were sleeping, and she just wanted to sleep with me for a little while. I passed out from drinking and she passed out from exhaustion. Raising children during the day and working 12 hour shifts at night must really suck. We woke up at 6 am and she was off to her home. Any yes, I did put pesos in her purse before she left.
Saturday:
I woke up quite late. I looked at my free breakfast voucher, and it said from 7 to 11 only. At 2:30, I was hung over and hungry. I went down to the restaurant and seen a couple of meseros that I know and the time on the voucher was not a concern; even though I was willing to pay in the first place. Watched some college football for a while, then headed to HK.
Funny thing happened in HK, a male wedding party came in fully suited in their wedding clothing; matching suits and all. The groom had a few girls rubbing their tits and pussies all over the his suit. The wedding photographer was there as well snapping shots of the pre-wedding booth follies. And I only came away with one thought, or question, "With those great pre-wedding pictures, how long would that marriage last?" BTW, these fuckers were cheap! No one wanted to tip the girls that provided the pre-wedding fun!
I sat in HK weighing my options on whether to pull a new HK girl or pull one of my regular HK girls, or to try a new one at BT, LC, or CC. FUCK, I hate when I'm hung over and lazy! I pulled from my regular rotation in HK. I called her over for a drink and she asked why it took so much time for her to drink with me again. I responded, "I'm old, tired, love my options, and can barely handle one girl a night. " She decided she would change my mind by almost killing my dumb ass during sex. I could barely breath, trembling, and half dead when she got done with me. If I was religious, I would thank the father of jesus for saving me!
Later, I met up with Artistyp and Chris Long in CC. We checked out the talent and I bought a few drinks; such as the norm. I made a future date with one of the new girls. Chris Long could care less about the tequila expo because he does not drink; lucky bastard! So Artistyp and I decided to walk to the tequila expo off of 3rd avenue.
Tequila Expo:
The new location SUCKED! The previous years in was located in front of Las Pugas, but this year it was off of 3rd. I guess fucking Las Pugas filed a complaint so the venue changed locations. The event was located in a much narrow street and on Saturday, it was difficult to even move freely because of the crowd. I tried a bunch of samples, but I was out of there early because of the crowd.
Went back to the Ticuan and had a couple of nightcaps at the bar while watching the college football results. Over all, despite the chicas expo cancellations, I still had a great time!
