Bangkok Reports

Had a four night stay in Bangkok with four other friends, been there many times, so not much surprising.

Thermae - use to visit this place and, in fact, pulled a nice gal out of there about a year ago. Man, has this place gotten bad (for Caucasians). Not one gal in the line up would even look at any of us. No, wasn't my age, had my nephew with me who is like someone out of general casting and he could not get a nibble. They literally told us "Japanese only."

On top of that, add the staff. We had one waiter follow us around and badger us for drinks, left in disgust.

Avoid this place, you are wasting valuable time.

Soi Cowboy - Not much has changed. We all agreed Tilac was the best bet. We found the gals the friendliest of the group. Even if you do not buy them a drink most will roll with it and still stay and joke with you.

Nana Complex - The friendliest place here seemed to be Rainbow 4. Friend of mine fell in love here with a stunner - barfined her three or four times. Others places were fun, but this one seemed to have a little extra spice.

Nana Parking Lot - This was interesting. First night I met two gals there, one claimed she had been there many times, her friend was 19, a stunner - about 5' 7", shapely, and beautiful. Her friend told me she could not speak a one word of English. and that this was her first night on the job. Took her to my room. Almost lost my breath when she took her clothes off, I am sure I will not see something that fine again for a long time. Problem was that she was very new. Not that she was uncooperative, she simply did not have any rhythm or movements to speak of. Too bad.

Couple nights later picked up a gal I passed up on a year ago. Her name is Eva. Last year she would not give a bbbj. At that time, my friend took her (under that condition) and said he had a good time. Maybe its the economy because she readily agreed this time. What a time, although this gal had fake tits (nice though), she had a body like marble. One hell of a lay. Really got into it, tossing me around and laughing. Got her number just in case I make it back there within a reasonable amount of time. She claimed she is there on Fridays/Saturdays.

Just to warn you guys, this weekend is a large Buddhist Holiday. All Bars will be closed and beer sale at 7-11 will be stopped so stock up. You can still buy beer at Mom and Pop Thai stores but there are not many around if you’re staying in the heart of Pattaya. Government offices will be closed on Monday so if you need a visa like I do think ahead. 500 Bath fine if you go over.

I see chula day which is a secular holiday and while the banks will be closed Monday we'll have to see about the bars; usually on such days they're not.

Still - I met by chance one of my MSCs that night, may be the best performing "social worker" I know in Bangkok. And no - you cannot have her phone number! Private property! Of course - I was a good boy all night long, as to be expected. I was with the boys - and with my beer :)...

Seems like nana and cowboy are starting to lure in lots of japanese now. It was only a few years ago that they were in there with small numbers and stuck to just a few bars. Now they are everywhere. Thank god the girls aren't saying "japaense only" at nana and cowboy yet.

I thought tons of ladies in the likes of Rainbow 4, G-Spot, Baccara, etc. were "japanese only", certainly like half of them are Japanese style. I did LT one who told me I was her first falang, and she only goes with Japanese guys (her falang-style sister put in a good word for me). I know they are professional liars, but her Facebook is full of all sorts of Japanese and Korean pop stars videos, Japanese writing (even her own name), and every single one of her friends besides me is Japanese. I used to think it was about 4~4~4 or however it is, but I think that the Japanese style girls are actually really into Japanese(/Korean) culture.

The good part for me is that Japanese guys don't like 'em the way I do, most of the time, so there usually isn't that much competition over a particular lady.

I won't worry until the bars start playing Japanese music.

All the rainbow bars in nana cater first and foremost to japanese, which is why the girls are less friendly and stay on stage waiting for you to request them. In farang style bars the girls are more often encouraged to walk around and introduce themselves to guys unsolicited. I haven't seen high numbers of Japanese in gogos other than the rainbows and baccara.

A lot of thai people in general are really into japanese and korean culture, including bargirls. They play a fair number of j & k-pop songs in gogo bars, though some of these songs have English mixed into the lyrics so you probably don't even notice.

The "japanese only" policy of Thermae girls is pretty obnoxious. Tokyo itself is filled with hundreds of amazing sex clubs, none of which foreigners are permitted to enter. If that attitude starts infecting more clubs in Bangkok it will be pretty annoying.

I agree that MOST of the girls in rainbow would prefer to go with a japanese man or an asian man(3-3-3).
I'm a farang, and I've never had a problem getting any of the rainbow girls to go with me. I've seen all these girls go with non-asian men, however, in the next few years i think the asian mongers will probably take over nana/cowboy just like they did with Thermae. They can outspend westerners, and that is what they are slowly doing to take over these spots.

I don't agree with you. They don't have the numbers. Japan has lots of great sex clubs, so japanese men don't need to come to thailand to have fun. Whereas it's obviously a different story with farangs in their home countries, which is why there are so many of them. However I could see the japanese annexing another club or two in the manner they have with Thermae.

Perhaps we should organize a group of 30 or 40 farangs to march into Thermae and refuse to leave until the girls agree to service them.

That brings me to my second part: Where would you send a fresh Thailand mongerer for his first time in Bangkok?

Does Giotto work at Livingstone Hotel? I read a few pages and I wasn't entirely sure if he does, but I'll likely try to stay there if that is the case.
