Newbie Etiquette continued
I'm going to Kiev in January and thanks to the info here I decided to try to line up some girls via mamba. Ru, but many profiles require that you have a "real" status to view them. I tried to enable it by having an SMS sent to my US phone, but I don't get the SMS. I googled the problem and this seems to be a common issue for verification to US phone numbers. I have two questions:
1- Are there any other alterntives to get my mamba. Ru account flagged as real?
2- Does it really matter? I found plenty of profiles that looked like working girls that weren't blocking users without the "real" status
Dear Hulk,
Just for the record, this question was asked and answered in the thread a number of times, the last of which was very recently, in fact on December 9, 2012, a mere 11 days ago! Here is the link to my response:

See my answer there and Albertaguy's response immediately below mine with other suggestions.
This is a perfect example of a newbie asking a question just previously asked without bothering to read the thread sufficiently. So Hulk you really need to do your homework. It could have been you, instead of Eddie123 that got flamed with a RTFF response. One reason I cut you some slack is that being able to function on mamba. Ru in the months before a trip to collect contacts of girls to meet with, is a crucial element of Kiev mongering presently, and cannot await the time needed to read a year or two of this thread going back, although I'm sure you would have come across the posts from 11 days ago eventually. So don't be so lazy, and may your next posts be educated questions or informative reports.

American Pizza and directions
So I was walking down Basseina street and I passed the Dominos. It occurred to me that I should try American pizza in Kiev. I opened the door and the warm, familiar smell of American pizza wafted over me. I struggled to make my order with the cashier who looked down, giggled to herself, and shared knowing glances with her coworker in the way that so many people here do when they see that you are a "tourist". I settled down into one of the seats and waited for my order. A few minutes later, two women in their early twenties walked into the place. One was grossly overweight and the other could have been cute but was about 60 lbs overweight. I was surprised to see young women so overweight here in Kiev. I was wondering how these girls had gotten so overweight here in Kiev. It truly looked so strange and out of place. And then they opened their mouths. And out came the loud braying of american english. Oh my god. Of course.
A little later I was coming out of the underground in front of the mandarin market. I passed an older couple who said something to me which I couldn't understand except for the word "Kreshchatik". I realized they were asking me for directions and were headed in the wrong direction. Using hand signals and the word "the" I managed to give them directions on how to get to Kreshchatik street. When I left them they were headed back in the right direction. I had just accomplished helping Ukrainians find their way around in their own capital despite my poor grasp of their language. It's hard to describe the feeling but it felt great. It felt like Kiev had become a part of me.
