Try San Juan, La Union for surfing
Also can you go surfing in Subic beach?
SB (and his news report) told you what you need to know about surfing at Subic. If you're bent on surfing in Luzon, a better alternative is San Juan in La Union Province. It's just North of San Fernando, the capital of La Union. Buses go from Angeles to San Fernando, about three hours, plus or minus, North of AC. You can find routes and approximate travel times online. The buses probably continue on past San Juan, but there are also jeepneys and maybe trikes that can get you from San Fernando to San Juan. Waves aren't great, but there are a number of resorts that rent boards. The surfing scenes in Apocalypse Now were filmed there. Beaches just a little North of the surfing area are decent. Some recent posts in the Other Areas thread have also reported on the pfp scene in areas near San Fernando, including Bauang, which was an American military outpost some years ago.
This is soo off the mark.
And if Jolibee touted itself as said gourmet burger shop some people would flock to it and swear by it because of the word "gourmet", which I learned in grad school is usually no better but just an indication that you will have to pay more money.
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=gourmet
Urban dictionary? Really? Grad school taught you that a gourmet burger is nothing? You're telling me that a McDonald's burger is the same as one that's from aged beef and hand made? Really? Gibson's is that same as Roadhouse?
