In any event, you will get the best rate at Super Rich in town. So don't change a bundle at the airport unless you want less in return.

I'd always assumed that exchange rates were the same at the airport, is it a definite better rate after customs?

The reason i ask is that I normally change my money whilst waiting for my baggage, but if it is a better rate then I will change after customs.

First let me thank the board for the vast amount of information, especially thanks to Mr. Frazer who recommended few hotels in Bangkok and Pattaya. You really made it easy for me. Thanks again.

I've been reading the board for the last couple of months but the issue that I'm struggling with surprisingly has not come up too often.

Since I am going to stay in Thailand for two weeks, I thought it would be a good idea to join a dating site to meet some regular girls just to go out with have dinner and drinks and if they want to come back to my hotel later fine and if not, I just go and pick up a FL or a Gogo bar girl.

After joining a dating site, I was surprised by the amount of response I got. I narrowed it down to 4 girls. Three of them I plane to contact when I'm in BKK and meet whomever was available for drinks and see what happens next date. And a beautiful 26 year old who accepted to come and spend my last two days in Pattaya, to celebrate my 45th birthday with me. (I'm turning 47, but everyone lies by 2 years. Right?)

Now the question is, is it worth it, putting time and effort when I could do touristy things (and I mean sex tourist here). Especially the last girl whose emails are getting more serious. She asks me if I would meet her mom. She also hopes that we fall in love after spending the couple of days together and spend the rest of our lives together, and so on. I know the easy answer is not to see her, but a girl of her caliber has not been interested in me since I was in my early thirties. She keeps sending me sexy photos (at my request) and asking me not to make her sad by not writing to her every day.

Am I breaking rule #1: DO NOT FALL IN LOVE! And I'm not even there yet.

So should I stick to the pros or should I mix some regular girls in between and deal with the headaches that comes with it? As far as attachment, there is almost 0% chance of that. I've been dating for a long time and never got attached.

Just go and have the time of your life dude.

Drinking is OK, in moderation, but don't get too drunk. If you get a hangover at all, you are wasting valuable time and energy recuperating that could be better utilised laying on top of a spread-eagled spinner.

Don't forget to look BOTH WAYS when you cross the street. Way too many guys get blasted by a car because they walk out in the steet after looking the wrong way.

Try to do at least a few touristy things. Thailand really does have a remarkable history and culture.

Have as much sex as you possibly can, with as many different girls as you can.

Have sex with at least three different girls, one at a time, on the same day at least once. Have at least one threesome.

Get a header in the afternoon every day so you have more staying power at night.

Don't analyse it too much. Just go and do whatever comes along.

Alrighty. My first night in Bangkok.

I just arrived from the airport, and made my way to Giotto's hotel. I am in the taxi, and the guy takes a swing down some road with a lot of street walkers. I see a few good looking ones, and am starting to feel good about my decision to vacation in Thailand.

I arrive at the Livingstone Lodge, and it's like pussy overload when I exit the taxi, as it is almost midnight, and Sukhumvit 33 is in full swing. After checking into the hotel, I make my way downstairs and go into the Sports bar, there are some nice girls there, but there are definitely some that have been barfined already.

So, I get a beer, and go outside to introduce myself to Giotto. I start chatting to him, and we move back into the Sports Bar. The older gal, love her by the way, introduces me to a few of the girls and I start to like 'smiler'.

Smiler is a little spinner from Isan, and she's got a great little body, an adorable face, and a big smile is ever-present. Of course, she then runs off for a shower, and I wait for her to return.

She sauntered back into the room wrapped in a white towel, which looked fantastic against her dark skin, and then I pulled her onto the bed and we got down to business.

As I just landed, we kept it simple for the first go, she gave me a pretty good BBBJ, that involved a lot of hand in the entire region, and then slapped on a hat and went for mish.

She was a bit small, and couldn't handle everything I gave her, so we had to adjust a few times for her comfort, but in the end the desired result occured, and we headed off to sleep.

Second night in Bangkok

A slight change of pace, I had a nice green curry at Giotto's place and then he was going to show me some of the 'sights' like Na Na area, and etc.

We set off in a taxi, and get down to the Na Na Go-Go area. After being pulled and hailed by various women, and what-kind-of-appear-to-be-women, we make our way to Rainbow 4. We sit down and have a beer. It's neither the scene for us, but its definitely an interesting thing to C. The room consists of two large, long stages, surrounded by bar stools, high top tables, and various seating crammed into a single space.

The stages are absolutely loaded with girls. One stage had these girls topless, and the other stage was comprised of girls wearing tops. The house had the gall to place on side of the room away from the topless girls, much to our chagrin, and that immediately struck me as odd.

Anyway, I didn't like how things were working there, so I followed Giotto out of the Na Na area, past the good burger stand, the various Ladyboys, and the infamous Na Na parking lot.

I had a walking tour through the various parts of the Soi Sukhumvit area, including such places as "Gullivers" and the infamous biergaarten where we stopped for our second beer.

We were shown some stools next to a lonely looking thai girl. She seemed nice, and went along with our joking pretty well, and after chatting together, and with the somewhat bemused girl, we headed off again.

I would, at this point, like to add that Giotto is like the Yoda of Thai Girls.

Anyway, this bar turned out to be our final destination, as they had some good live music on offer, and it was 'happy hour' all night for 100baht beers. Of course, the torrential downpour that was occurring outside had a big part of our longer stay in this bar.

Granted, when the rain stopped, after a few beers, Giotto excused himself, and left me with my girl number two!

Would it be more fulfilling to hang around with that girl who wants to get all mushy, romantic, and be with you rather than a bar girl? If you answer a yes to that question, then do it.

Regular girls are definitely not a bad thing.
