Anyone tried out MP or other in the French Concession area recently? Or is it all veggie massage?

I used to always stay at the Hilton, it was an easy walk to manhattans and a cab ride back if I wasn't alone.
But sadly it is no longer a Hilton January 2018. I am looking for a new hotel close to Judy's. The Portman is the closest. I believe it to be Girl friendly. I just wanted to check on anyone's recent experiences since the weather changes.
What other 4/ 5 star western hotels near Judy's fit the bill? (nearby, girl friendly and around 1200 rmb / night or less. Looking for suggestions.

The Hilton was always very friendly. BTW, what is it becoming effective 2018? The Portman is your best bet and also you can meet girls in the bar and take them to your room from there.

Then ride office elevator to 4th floor, walk across to hotel elevator and you never pass through the lobby. Works like a charm, no walk of shame and you don't even need to pay taxi from Judy's to hotel.

It's just down the street from the Hilton. Has anyone tried that lately, to confirm that it is still girl-friendly?
P. s. I will be in Shanghai again this weekend and looking to hit Judy's and Manhattan. Anyone want to meet up for a beer on Saturday or Sunday night?
Also, I'm wondering about prices now that the weather has cleared? I read a post that during the storm the prices were higher, at 1500-2000 RMB for LT, but below post says 1000 RMB for LT still standard. Please let me know, by PM if needed, what is the current pricing so that I don't overpay What's the ST rate? Thanks!

I never paid more (well maybe once) and usually got two pops and two hours. I may have walked away from a couple stunners for 1500 but never saw where paying more got me anything better. It's probably like always. 7-8's in the ranges noted. 9-10 (if there are 10's) for more.

I don't know what it's becoming but it's being bought by Chinese and I prefer a western hotel when possible.

Based on the beauty of girl, how bad you want her and the day of the week I would say 1200-2500. It also depends what you look like. If you are very overweight, unpleasant looking or just rude in the bar, you will most likely pay more. You don't have to be a stud, I am bald, a few pounds heavy (no beer gut) and over 50. I still have no problems. I do find some girls very adamant about their "one pop" rule. I leave them behind. Nothing worse than some beautiful girl next to you and you want a second round.

Manhattan's is contacting a few Viet girls and telling them the doors should open again next week.
About 120 girls were arrested and their passports seized via there work at Manhattans a few weeks ago. These girls have since been released from jail, but, their passports have not been returned. They have been stuck in Shanghai with no where or way to work.
Hopefully, the times are a changing!
