Girls posting ads, I contacted few of them, 90% of them asking for Downpayment, I did send few downpayments and later got gosted.
I am sure locals have lots of success for as far as forigners they get scammed.
Foreigners are too horny and allow themselves to be scammed in hopes of getting some pussy. Been said on this website thousands of times not to send money. It has also been said it is your money to spend how you like.
I don't think locals use any dating apps, probably they don't even know that such things exists.
Downpayments? - no no, you're not buying a car, and even if you do that, you see the vehicle first.
On line after you filter out 95% of the fakes, scams, and ladyboys, you always have a video session on whatsapp to make sure is the one that's in the pic, and no money exchanges hands before the deed is finished.
Great advice Old and Ugly.
Any genuine girls I've dealt with have been the same and don't do the apps.
Although they're all on FB, hardly any of them know anything about Instagram.
I deal with models for my business and have tried to promote Filipinas, but none have a clue about online promotion or marketing themselves and how they can earn some extra cash without necessarily potentially having to open their legs for a living.
Filipinas do have a knack of scamming unsuspecting guys though, also without opening their legs.

_ Phil.
I did the Pinalove extensively in the past when I was traveling around Philippines, going to the next place where I put my finger on the map. That's how I got to the conclusion that 95% are fakes. Sometime I got lucky, most of the time not. Very rare they looked like in the profile pic. I did hundreds of online meetings, always choosed local girls, met maybe 15-20 in one year period, but never paid anything in advance, sometimes was no money involved at all.

Facebook Walker pages
Can someone give me a quick primer on FB "Walker" pages?
I search for, say, "Davao Walker". Numerous groups and individual girls come up.
Individual girls are posting almost daily when they are available, sometimes with pricing. Guys are leaving messages simply saying "PM". Girls photos are generally hot and totally doable. Prices seem a little over the freelancer rates but not wildly so.
Questions:
Are these generally incall or outcall?
Are guys requesting a PM from the girl with location, available times etc or have they send a PM when & where they want to meet?
Life is a game of chance but are these scammer central or generally reliable?
Some are clearly handlers. Do guys just PM preferences, his location and time and then a girl is sent?
Note I'm talking about pros not the regular friends of friends of civilians.
Am missing anything?
Thanks. G.
Are these generally incall or outcall?
Negotiable issue between the client (you) and the girl. Some girls will insist on a particular ST hotel (or a small set of such hotels).
Are guys requesting a PM from the girl with location, available times etc or have they send a PM when & where they want to meet?
The PM process usually occurs when you contact / PM the FB account owner, who is usually acting as a kind of mama / provider. The mama / provider often collects a percentage (or just p500) of whatever the girl gets. Hence, when you said that the prices were just slightly higher than normal, the additional you are giving over normal is the provider's cut.
Life is a game of chance but are these scammer central or generally reliable?
There is nothing to scam. You are not paying anything until the girl performs. If she shows up fatter than the pics suggest, or she lied or wants additional money up front, just send her back.
Some are clearly handlers. Do guys just PM preferences, his location and time and then a girl is sent?
The handler will send the exact girl from the picture. Work out your preferences in advance with the handler. Once the girl is in your room, if you get along well, she will gladly give you her number, offer to provide again for less (often p500 less), and completely cut out the handler later. Handlers are aware that they can not control this.
Note I'm talking about pros not the regular friends of friends of civilians.
I find both types of girls on walker pages in MNL. Big city girls are often not afraid to put their pic on the page, as its good advertising. And many of the girls on a walker page are pro's in the sense that they are doing it for money, but they don't get the opportunity often. They are often girl-next-door types, who get the call once or twice a month. Girl-next-door types don't stay on walker pages for long. There is no way in advance to tell apart the two types of girls.
Walkers in the province are definately not pro's. Just pretty girls who need the occasional money pickup.
Am missing anything?
Its not an escort agency. The walker pages tend to pop up, then disappear, within a few weeks or a few months. The girls also come / go on the handler pages, as they change their mind and drop out. The reason the page disappears is that the handler's family figures out what she is doing and put a stop to it.
Davao would be included in the same arena as NCR, Cebu, and AC. There are enough girls in the area to make good business out of it.

I'm seeing lots of references to "Hb" online. I thought it was Happy Birthday but it can't be everyone's birthday. 😜.
Anyone know what "Hb" is the abbreviation for?

Who calls the fucking toilet a comfort room, then abbreviates the shit to CR? No person from anywhere on the planet will know what they are talking about when they say CR, same as this Hb.

American slang: Crapper, the can, the throne, my office, and 'I got to go sit elsewhere'.

Add to that that they like to abbreviate and thus you get CR (comfort room), LDR (long distance relationship), OFW (overseas Filipino worker) and much more. Probably an Ossie connection with those grating abbreviations too. Their country, their rules.

I generally make a point of conversing in whatever Tagalog I can and try and keep the conversation local and referring to simple terms like "I'm just going to the CR".
It's surprising how many girls appreciate you've made the effort, as opposed to many fly-in fly-out tourists who just land in The Phils and expect sex on tap without having to take in any local references during their time there.
It's not too hard to learn your general pleasantries and it goes a long way, and from vast experience, it's been an amazing conversation starter, even in stores.
Yes, the Australian terms for a CR could be difficult for anyone to comprehend: Shitter, Crapper, Thunder Box, and then, if one's had too much to drink, they're 'Riding the Porcelain Bus'.
Quite often in a store I've offered a simple Salamat / Thank you.
And the girls have said, 'Do you speak Tagalog?
Naturally I say, "Kaunti" (a little) but it breaks the ice and has worked out well to gain some really good contacts.
To the newer members, my advice is, to learn a few Tagalog lines before you arrive and it will make a big difference with the locals from my experience. And don't be afraid if your pronunciation is crap. They'll like the fact you're making an effort _ Phil.

I guess they think a man can't or won't learn the language on his own hahaha.
