If airport procedures and weather are in your favour you ought to be walking into MBC at 630 or so. You may want to leave your bags at the airport's luggage storage if you're returning to the same terminal. Dash upstairs to the departure terminal and grab a white taxi which will use the meter; the driver may ask for meter +p100, but he'll accept +p50. To avoid the stuck-behind-the-jeep gridlock tell the driver to take Roxas Blvd to Santa Monica St (right before the pedestrian overpass to the US Embassy) to Del Pilar. At Roxas and Santa Monica turn right and go one block (you'll pass the access road where you'll see a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf) to Del Pilar. At Del Pilar Amazonia will be in front of you. If traffic is light have the driver turn right on Del Pilar (it's a one-way street) and drive 1 block to Salas St where MBC will be on your right; if traffic is heavy just get out and walk the one block. You'll likely find 2 dozen or so women sitting around MBC at that time. Decent is subjective; most of them will have a pulse and a vagina. You won't have much time to sit, pose, and chit chat, so circle the floor to find who strikes your fancy and make your pitch. There is a hotel just a few doors down from MBC in the direction back to Santa Monica St - I recall someone posted a report of it in the past 3 months. I recommend this place because you don't have the time to sit in traffic going to some other place even a few blocks away. Exit MBC, turn left, and it's approx. 20-30 metres down the street on the same side as MBC. Yes Roxas is closer than UN, but there are no buildings (except the US embassy, the Coast Guard, and the Manila Yacht Club) on Roxas. Thus finding an empty cab on Roxas itself (you'll be on the bayside of the blvd if going to the NAIA) is difficult because they are in the interior streets looking for passengers. The access road (service road) does have empty taxis, but not as many as Del Pilar or Mabini. If I were staying at that hotel I'd walk to Santa Monica, turn right, go to Mabini and catch a taxi there. The next light on Mabini is Padre Faura, but I can't recall if a vehicle can enter Roxas from Padre Faura; if they can then Padre Faura is the road to take to Roxas. I know one can do so on UN Ave.
