I went at the address of the place above. I had EXACTLY the same experience as you Buddy1978. Open, but empty. There were cameras on from the desk, all switched on, but nobody. Rooms were some open some closed, but empty. I though to use the toilet, but I did not.

But to note the time that I went there was nearly 4 am on a Saturday. The person who helped me was an old Korean guy with decent English. Maybe there isn't much of anyone around during the daytime. Good thing the place a block down is good, I wanted to go there at first, but ended up at the other place that night. So maybe it's only good to go around at night time.

As before, I got a handful of rejections before receiving an acceptance. Most of the rejections were polite, but one was actually quite rude. After reaching out with a message, this place responded with a parody message about me being a big dicked American out to ruin all the Asian women. I was a bit shocked, but made a mental note never to message them again.

Thankfully, I have enough shops willing to offer service that I don't need to worry about those that refuse. However, I'm still on a quest to add as many as I can because Hyugetels that I frequent have been known to abruptly pull their ads from Opgani7 and close. And even though I have plenty of others to choose from, from time to time the quality of women on offer temporarily ceases to meet my expectations. In these cases I'm happy to have even more options available.

Anyway, I was given access to a Hyugetel in Gangdong. It was my first visit to this place and it was the woman's first encounter in Korea with a non-Korean. Because of these factors, they asked me some questions such as, 'where are you from? 'are you white? And 'how big is your dick?' I answered truthfully and to my surprise what has been considered too big at other places, was A-OK at this one.

They then requested that I send a photo. Not an ID, just a photo, so I took a selfie and sent it along. I don't know if they were worried that they were being scammed or whether the woman wanted to see what she would have deal with, but after sending the photo they agreed to accommodate me. The rest played out as expected. They sent an address, I arrived on time and called, and then they told me that the real building was across the street. I went up to the room, knocked on the door, and I was welcomed inside.

I was pleasantly surprised by the woman I had picked. She looked even better than her pictures. She had long black hair, a slender body, and she was relatively tall. I have been mouthwatering all nights and days I spent walking around in Gangnam, Yongno, and other nice places where local youngsters stroll enjoying life, looking at that multitude of pretty ladies with their nice dresses (well, not all are nice dresses, but I like a pretty Korean even if she's wearing one of those long pijamas).

What puzzles me is that when I was in Indonesia I knew I was desired by most ladies (I have learned some basic bahasa). Here, I did not get a single "expression of interest". They see the Western man as a strange alien creature to keep at distance, unless one have enough time to build mutual confidence (which was out of my reach).

So sad!

For what it's worth, the sex industry in East Asia is almost entirely inward looking. There's enough money within the country that there is no need to bring in customers from outside and this has been the way it is for a long, long time.

These days, there is actually so much affluence that the country imports women. This is why there are so many Thai staffed establishments. Importing women has, in turn, put a premium on the prices that Korean women charge. The ads I see show that Korean women charge at least 50% more than their Thai counterparts in Korea. Not only do they charge more, they don't always specify services on offer, and thus may not always provide what is expected. In my experience with Koreans, many refuse to allow kissing, DATY, and CIP or CIM. Some do offer these options, but I don't like to gamble on whether these essential services are provided or not. In my opinion, they are not optional.

Worst of all, with few exceptions, Koreans don't generally offer their services to foreigners at all. Or, as you may have read on the forum, foreigners are often offered Korean women who are older, or they are offered service with pretty women at premium establishments for premium prices, but without the premium service. As others have already stated, 300,000 is a lot of money for covered, one shot service.

Regarding regular women in Korea, as a rule of thumb, they date Korean men. Even dating within their racial boundaries, they are often unwilling to date strangers and would much prefer to be introduced to someone by friend or family. If the women in the street weren't looking at you, rest assured that they also weren't looking at random Korean men. It's simply a consequence of the value placed on established social bonds and a strong reluctance to make room for outsiders.

There are, of course, places to go to find Korean women who like western men, but I have no idea what the scene would be like post-pandemic. Maybe others are more knowledgeable about the scene in Itaewon and around university neighborhoods such as Hongdae. I've been on the sidelines for some time, so I'm clueless about the current state of the pickup scene, but I do know that if you're young and attractive, you can make it happen.

I've read online and seen ads on opstar advertising kpop idols and movie actresses. I've read online that its not uncommon for some kpop idols / trainees to work at an opstar as a side gig.

Has anyone dished out the money to see one? I was curious if its actually legit and if so who was it?

Would love to try out one of these idols / actresses at an opstar and follow up with a review here. Problem is I'm a foreigner, so perhaps out of stroke of luck if one of the opstars does accept me, expect a review in June / July.

Are TacoYaki and KoreanChinese still willing to do a meetup in June? I'll be in Korea by then and would love to join you guys. Let me know so I can get a subscription.

There are upcoming idols / actresses on opstar but their services range in the thousands! Not sure if that is within your budget.

And I'm still down to start a meetup but need to figure out some slight logistics into how many we can have in our members as well as which establishments will take us as I assume very few of us are Korean.
