Everytime I go to AC I get conflicting feelings. The girls are so short it is unbelievable and many are not pretty. On the other hand most are nice girls, many of them have babies and no husband which is why they work in the bar where they make around US$20 to spend the night with a punter. The place is dirty, stinks, and even though it is dirt cheap I still end up spending 200USD per night drinking in the bars and bringing back one or sometimes 2 girls. Then by morning when the alcohol has evaporated I usually wish they would just go away so I can look for better options, while they want to stick around because my room is better than where they live, they get free food and drinks and since I am nice to them they may as well spend the next night with me than with another punter they don't know. I won't even mention the girls don't care if you use a condom and while most are clean some definitely have pussies smelling like burnt rubber.

I have been to Angeles maybe 20 times, many waitresses know me by name, frankly I still don't know if I like the place. And no the fact that I have been there 20 times does not mean I like it, it just means I forgot or think it is going to be better next time. Speaking about waitresses I am still thinking they are better looking than the dancers, and they need to be seduced or at least pretend to, which is kind of a nice change from the regular meat supermarket experience. Yet as far as service goes YMMV. A lot.

In the bars, I think ever female is available. By offering them up in different forms. Dancers, waitress, drink waiter etc, it is just part of the marketing mix. Different strokes for different folks. AC is a service city after all.

I appreciated he other aspects of your field report. I agree that AC is all the things you say but for 20 visits, they must be doing something right.

For me. I like the variety. So much supply.

By taking on the new role, they actually have the option to say no if they don't want to leave with and have sex with a particular person. I actually bar fined me a hostess the last time I was in Angeles and she told me her story. It was awkward every night after that night because she'd always see me bar hopping around and bar fining random girls and I'd always have to walk past her at her bar. She would just watch me like an eagle! I felt a little bad because I guess she thought we had something special? Also, I always saw her at her host stand, so I guess it's a safe bet to assume she wasn't going home with a lot of mongers.

What you described is exactly what happened to me in Cambodia. I heard nothing but positives, here and elsewhere, for years and years. When I got there, it was a much different story.
