What tends to happen is once a place of service is shared on a forum like this, it will usually get flooded with foreigners in the short term. Yes, that may sound good for the establishment in theory, but remember the establishment usually has a roster of women who probably have no interest in servicing foreigners, so the one (or few) girl (s) there who do will end up getting swamped in no time, burning them out and causing them to either stop working or stop seeing us.

The other thing is once you share the location of a place, you have no power over what other people who now have this information get to do with it. They'll share it with people they know, and if snowballs from there. Most Korean establishments operate on the basis of anonymity and inconspicuousness, they're there, but they're not supposed to be visible or easily identifiable. So when there is a sudden deluge of dudes who are clearly not locals constant entering and leaving a location, it speaks volumes to (a) local customers and (b) regular civilians who would no doubt notice the trend. Neither is what the establishment would want.

The third reason is some people just don't know how to behave. Yes, Korean men can misbehave and get banned from an establishment, but that establishment wouldn't ban all Koreans from visiting. Our relatively low numbers compared to locals means these places can literally afford to not have us serviced. One foreigner acting up could mean we all get tainted with the same brush, leaving the girl / establishment with the mindset that foreigners aren't worth the hassle. Why deal with foreigners in the first place when 99% of your clientele are locals who are willing to pay your rates?

Then there are the foreigners who don't mind spending money as if they're throwing confetti. This is especially true for those of us who frequent part timers and independent girls. I remember one poster here years back admitting he told the OG legendary service provider Sarah that her rates were too low and that she should charge higher. Naturally she followed his advice and her rates roughly doubled yearly after that till she retired and left the scene, this was right around the time MR girls figured they could charge 300 k+ KRW and get away with it. Even now we still have posts from guys willing to spend thousands of dollars on what they could probably get for 10-20% of what they're willing to spend.

So, yes some of us through extensive legwork have managed to find golden places and diamonds in the rough, but I wouldn't begrudge anyone who isn't willing to share info with strangers and those who don't have similar intel to exchange.

I understand what you're saying but I just see it differently. These establishments screen clients themselves so it's not like more people show up and suddenly it's a free for all for all types of shady customers. They don't just let anyone in. A lot of places advertise and want people to find them. Not all of us know how to find that info as well as a local.

I just find it odd to post on a forum meant to share info when no one is really sharing info. Most advice doesn't actually direct you to anything concrete. Everyone can do what they want. No one is obligated to share anything. I just figure I'd say something and perhaps some may agree and not hold back as much.

I'm not willing to tell the exact location because Hyugetels are not traditional businesses with a sign out front. You can't just stroll up out of the blue and ask to see what's available.

If, for instance, you were to show up unannounced, and somehow managed to get into the residential building and up to the right room without reservation, no one would open the door. If you were persistent and kept knocking and ringing the bell, it is likely that a group of men would come into the hall to escort you away. The other likely scenario is that the cops arrive. Hyugetels are located in residential buildings and people don't normally linger suspiciously in the halls trying to gain entrance to a residence that they have not been invited to.

Since Hyugetels are not locations you can just visit off the street, the only way to find them is to use the online ad listings. Since you know where to find these ads, you just have to use them. As I've mentioned before, if you are unable to navigate the website to find an ad, you will have an extremely hard time calling and making a reservation. If you can figure this part out, but can't speak Korean, then try to use English and see what happens. I don't know whether it will work, but it might be worth a shot. Regardless, be prepared for rejection.

I am hesitant to give the exact names of the Hyugetels that have accepted me because YMMV in the extreme. Some things that will make the process more likely to succeed are 1) be East Asian or white 2) speak Korean over the phone 3) be polite 4) call during late afternoon and early evening when there are fewer customers.

If you're having trouble navigating the online ad listings, I'm not unsympathetic to the issues you're facing. One of the reasons I've posted reports is to offer guidance. I've also posted to prove that it's not impossible. To aid you further, read the reports that have been posted in the past to find general location information, then realize that you can use this information to narrow down your web search. If, after you call the 5 to 10 Hyugetels in a given neighborhood and none offer you service, well, it's on you. As I stated before YMMV and no guarantees.

Thanks to everyone's input on this forum. I had a successful weekend of mongering in Seoul.

Friday night. I found the Thai Massage Place (King Thai Watpho) near Hongdae. Got a sub par Massage but the girl was a spinner with a nice body and gave great service. All said - 70 k for Massage and 100 k for CFS (Including BBBJ). Overall it was somewhat expensive but worth the effort.
