No worries. Funny enough, I was in Montreal last week. Too frickin cold.

I was really interested in a casual place. Would be by myself. I'm usually in the Brooklin area but I'm good with taxis so not really limited by location. I was going to hit up Figueira but I've found Sundays too "family-ish" there.

It's difficult to answer out of the blue a question like this. What kind of restaurant are you looking for? Planning to go there alone? In which part of the town are you located or you intend to go out? What kind of meal are you looking for? Are old are you?

Two districts are well known for their good restaurants: Vila Olimpia / Itaim Bibi and Pinheiros / Vila Madalena (there are other districts as well but these two combine good restaurants + good nightlife).

Expensive (room is R100 an hour, girls can go from R200 to R300 an hour) , but the quality is good. At least I was satisfied. The place has a good restaurant, a good bar. I didn't know that, my bad. I thought it meant, someone who does not work for a club per se. And chooses the assignment at will.

By the way, I walked past My Way today. First, the place is towards the end of fashionable street. Its slightly set back from main street and it had a pink curtain. Sorry, I was disappointed with its outlook. And then I noticed a not even remotely pretty girl sitting outside. Which really was the last straw. I am not going there. True, beauty lies in the eye of beholder, but "My Way" has a far impressive website than the place itself. At least from outside. Does not look exquisite at all.

To the poster asking for restaurants:

As a general rule don't go somewhere for fish og seafood during weekends. The fish market is closed during Saturday and Sunday, so what you will get is not fresh (ie has probably been frozen or are leftovers from the week). For early dinner on Sunday I would recomend either of the Fogo de Chao restaurants or Baby Beef Rubaiyat (two locations). For normal dinner hours or late dinner on Sunday I would go to either A Figurira Rubaiyat or La Tambouille. For amazing scenery and a night snack nothing beats the rooftop bar / restaurant Skye at Hotel Unique. Catch the sunrise with that special garota.

Otherwise I would recomend Biboca for high quality food whithout prices that will burn a hole in your wallet. I don't remember their opening hours though, so I can not confirm if they are open on Sundays or not:

Quality used to be high there, how is it now? What is the going rate to bring a girl back to your hotel for the whole night? Does anyone know if taking a girl to the Hyatt is a problem? Have also been looking at some of the gators websites. Girls look amazing. What is the usual rate? Is it per hour? How much all night? Will they come to my hotel? Do many of them speak English? Lots of questions, I know. Appreciate any guidance / up to date info you can share.

I have more or less the same questions than Rhvc 2002. . Information about Sao Paulo would be very helfhul.

Now they are located at Avenida Juscelino Kubitschek 373. Back in the day you seemed to go to SP Cafe Photo was incredible. Now is more of a tourist trap. Many girls especially in Cafe Photo will speak English. Prices from R$500- pr. Hour. If you are looking for a high end experience I would rather go to W Garden at Rua Alvorada 550. Prices are about the same as at Cafe Photo but generally better service and younger girls.

BTW, steep entry at both places. R$190 from what I remember. At Cafe Photo this will give you four drink tickets and at W Garden they will allow you to drink for amount you paid on entry. W Garden not so many English speakers but that is generally no problem. My Portuguese is pretty rusty too. Once I actually managed to comunnicate with a garota by only using pen and paper and making drawings to each other. No spoken words between us were understood.

Other similar options would be Bomboa or Scandalo. There is even Touch Cafe run by the former owner of Bahamas, but that is really a bit out of the city.

The websites are generally not my cup of tea but I think the going rate is around R$200- pr. Hour. The most experienced will speak some English, but many will not. Still not a big problem except on the phone when the date is set up.

I dig this place.

They'll always let you in to check the place out before buying anything, and then a guy's drink is only R$16, and one for a garota is R$32.

I initially lay by her bag R$100 and she says thank you, but I really just wanted to see her reaction to that amount and she was cool with it, but then of course I handed her R$100 more and she returned me a very happy smile.

Great girl, beautiful, loving, fun.

Total cost, R$290, all night and morning and into the late afternoon.

Could have paid her less, but that would've been a shame on me.

Next time I see her, it'll be without having to pay the middleman, the bar fine.

I was just in Rio. The exchange rate is as follows: 1 USD = 1. 65 R at the Termas; 1. 6 at the cab stand at the airport; and 1. 55 at the exchange booths plus a fee at the Airport. My cc gave me a slightly better rate but I had to pay a 12USD fee. Probably the best option is to exchange your money at the termas.

I had grand plans when I arrived. The first night I decided I was going to visit Monte Carlo because I had been reading some good reports on ISG. The deal at MC is there is 70R entry fee. 70 R cabine rental fee and 150R for 40 minutes with a girl. Prior to my visit the locals on the beach and a cabbie were talking about how bad the talent is at MC and that Centaurus was so much better etc. I made my mind up I was going there any way. Later that night I entered MC in nervous about what I would find. I was hoping the cabbie the cabana boys were wrong about the talent. In short, they were wrong. The place was hopping with plenty of fuckable garotas.

Monte Carlo.

During my scouting trip that morning I almost missed the place. I was walking up and down the street. There is no sign that says Monte Carlo. There is just a door with a 19 over it?
