You take my report far too seriously! LOL! I mistook HKLover's post for HKDog. I have seen many of HKDog's posts, so I thought he would appreciate the details. Just a guess. However HKDog is a Asia regular, so if I had paid more attention, it would have seemed odd for him to ask this question. We will see if it matters to HKLover.

Yeah, I could have said 500 baht to 5,500 baht, but a range like that may just have raised more questions. At least I know where all the sex shows are! Just a joke. I knew I would take a few shots for that post.

The airport fact sheet just posted ( [url]http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?t=2793[/url] ) is a great idea but I notice no mention of the express buses from Suvarnabhumi to the major tourist areas in BKK. I recall paying something like 10 bucks last year for fast bus transportation, and I'm expecting to use it when I visit this year. Is that an oversight, or has that service been ended?

It also states that taxis are well regulated, and you cannot take a taxi upstairs at departures. Ridiculous, I have NEVER been down to arrivals. I went to the airport yeterday to drop off the GF, and walked right out departure level, accross the street, and into 1 of 20 waiting cabs.

I'm sure that it's A LOT less hassle to pay 350-400 Baht, which comes to between $11 and $12.50 to take a cab into Bangkok. I've never NOT been able to get a cab for Meter + 65 tolls, +50 airport cab fee, which ends up coming to around 320-350 baht plus tip.

If I was going to Pattaya, I might well take a bus, because that's the difference between 1200 Baht ($38) or under 200 baht ($6) to take a bus into Patts

Just have to be clear before getting in, "Taxi Meter? " I always try to have the 65 baht for the tolls and about 200-250 baht for the fare. That way, there are no "change games" at the end.

I think they have relaxed a bit at the new airport. When they first opened you could not get a taxi on the arrival level. Now you can, even though you aren't supposed to catch one there.
