Thank you for all your inputs. Appreciate the responses. Since I am not living alone, it would not be possible for me to bring a girl to my Apartment. Therefore, a hotel is the only alternative for me.

What I would like to know is. Are there any good hotels in Jakarta that I can take on an hourly basis instead of the usual nights / days booking in Hotels? Hourly room reservation system is available in a few other countries that I have been to, not sure about Jakarta / Indonesia though.

Would love to learn about this possibility from the regular members here. Where can I take a girl offering outcall services if my home isn't an option.

1. Is Malio Bar in the same complex as Malioboro Hotel?

If you are young, attractive and like to drink and party (and have at least some game), go to X2 in Senayan or Immigrant in Plaza Indonesia or Dragon Fly in Graha BIP. You should be able to pick up girls for FREE. If you are young, but aren't that attractive and have no game, then you can pick up hookers at CJs in Hotel Mulia or BATS in Hotel Shangri-La for about $100 to 200 usd per night (depending on quality of girl).

You may not have beer bars and Gogo bars like Thailand, but you certainly have night clubs that are full of luscious hot young (and mature) Indo women.

1. BATS at Shangri-la.

2. CJ at Mulia.

3. X2.

4. Immigrant at Mall Plaza.

5. Dragonfly.

6. Empirica.

7. Illigals.

8. Colosseum (I have never been here).

9. Golden Crown (Popular among locals).

10. Fable (For the really young and restless. I walked out in less than 15 minutes, as I felt quite awkward).

There is your Top 10. Remember, almost all nightclubs in Jakarta are expensive. Most will apply a cover charge of IDR 200,000 or so. If you drink a lot, its best to buy a bottle. That will get you a table or a couch. Book in advance if its a weekend.

Dress well. This is not Pattaya. Bouncers take their jobs pretty seriously. You will be refused entry if not dressed appropriately. No matter how much money you got in your pockets.

Music is pretty average IMHO but then this is hardly the focus. The focus is girls, which are in plentiful at these places. While a majority are hookers, you will bump into the odd sideline chick who is looking to make a quick buck or simply enjoying herself. Prices are always a matter of negotiation but I have never managed to get anyone under IDR 700,000. And I have paid as high as IDR 2,000,000. There is no concept of ST with these girls.

If you can speak some Indonesian, or just let them think you are a local expat, they will likely come down in price. Everything is negotiable, supply and demand on the night, and it depends how much you can be arsed to get a better price. In my experience, a higher price does not necessarily mean better service.

It is a bit of sport for me, so I try to get the best price possible by speaking Indonesian to them and negotiating hard if I am in the mood for it. Then if they were awesome I give them extra money and get their phone number for repeats. If they are a crap star fish, then I blow and they go with just the agreed amount.

I was talking to a girl in BATS awhile ago and we were bantering back and forth negotiating. I didn't really care if she came with me or not. Eventually she agreed to 600, but it took so long that she was hopelessly drunk by that time I just knew it was going to end badly for me so I told her no. She left angry and drunk, and another great girl appeared and we had a great time.

I am not suggesting that they will all go for 600, just that supply and demand was on my side that night, and they will negotiate.

Just what I wanted to know. I don't really post about Thailand because all the information is already there in the Thailand forums.

Being a Muslim country I'm always skeptical about reports of Jakarta being an awesome place to party and monger so thanks for the info. Will post a report once I get back.
