I just had a non pro girl I have been on 3 dates with absolutely beautiful girl come over while I made dinner for her. Finally after so many "nos" I got inside her today. Once again. The most boring monotonous robotic sex ever. My theory is Columbian women think too much. Even more than your average other woman. I don't know. But I'm getting a lot of dead fish fucking lately both pro and bon pro. The one pro I got who seems to like me is good. Not impressed overall with Columbians. Asian women fuck much better, are more intimate and are more submissive plus complain about little things a lot less. Columbian women in general are very overhyped and disappointing overall to me so far. Where is this great myth of Columbian women being the best in the world coming from? I'm just not seeing it at all. Venezuelans seem way better.

I said we are going to the damn beach not to a fashion show. She said if I don't buy her one we won't be going to the beach. I agreed. No beach. I was thinking to myself damn, why didn't I just go the hooker route. It would have been much cheaper. We went to a bar on top of the wall called Casa del Mar. I loved the ambiance of this place. The two ladies had lemonade and I had a Club Colombia. 20K. She told me that her cousin lived far and asked if I could pay for her a taxi to go home. This is usually where I draw the line. The last time a girl in Bogota tried to pull that shit I gave them 2000 pesos before I walked back to my hotel. Anyway I'm still hoping that she will loosen up by the second meeting so I agreed.

We walked to Exito so I could buy some towels. She goes to get the most expensive towel she can find. 24K. I said negative. I asked the stock guys where the cheap towels were and they gave me one for 9K plus a wash cloth for 1. 8K. I also grabbed a 1. 5 liter H2O. When I got to the check out counter I asked the cashier where I could get a card for my Movistar cell. She said that she could do it on the register if I gave her the number. So I give her my number and old girl wants to get recharged as well. She said so she could call me. I told her no and that I would just call her instead. But I get where yiu are coming from. Being viewed as a walking ATM machine is not good. This will be my first and last trip to Cartagena. I just feel like if I'm going to tolerate Columbians downright shitty subpar behavior I might as well do it in a 3rd tier city where its cheap and I hrt some gringo exotic factor. So far my impression of Columbian wo. En is not a good one though. They just all seem kind of cut try and to the point with everything. Its very surprising to me considering this is the salsa capital of the world. A lot of the girls just seem very robotic, selfish and boring individuals in general. The only really good Latinas I have met whether its here, in tge DR in Mexico or in Miami were Venezuelans.

Probably four different apartments (five counting the one in Mirador del Laguito but I am not sure he still has that one). I personaly only saw one cockroach one time. For the record it was the biggest fucking cockroach I have ever seen. That was a third floor unit. Mostly I try to get as high up as I can to increase the ocean view and ususally request the same apartment but sometimes it is not available. And have never seen any in the high floors. Maybe I have just been lucky. I'm certainly not doubting what anyone is saying, and know that they could not infest the higher floors but I never have seen any there, those buildings are old, and a littel run down and the humid environment in Cartagena is perfect for those giant cockroaches so I do not doubt what any other poster is saying, I am just saying that on my several stays there I have seen one once.

[/QUOTE]For anyone wondering where he is talking about , LDV was in Laguito in the little shopping center where the road splits around it (now called Pierino Gallo) there where you mention walking up the stairs, back during that time all of Juans apartments were walking distance. Laguito is so small it is small enough to be confused as being part of Bocagrande. It is really just two streets and a cluster of a few buildings on Playa Hollywood along along Carrera 1. The shopping center where LDV used to be used to and may still have a Casino in it also, the only other thing in that median area where the road is split is a small police substation then those two roads join at Calle 1b. there are a lot of highrise apartment buildings all along Calle 1b, one side faces the ocean - the other faces the lake, the only other main road that is in Laguito is Diagnal 1 and it runs along the with the lake on one side and the back of buildings that face Calle 1b but that is the street that you have to take to get out of Laguito because the streets are one way.

Another little peice of useless trivia is that back in that time era I remember there was a house near LDV that was owned by some Israelis and enough Isrealis visited Cartagena and stayed in Laguito back then (I think I heard it was mostly Israeli military) I noticed the internet cafe across from the previously mentioned police substation had keyboards set up in Hebrew. I met a couple of girls on the beach that stayed at that house. They were wearing arm bands that they said let them come and go there. They were visting from Bucaramanga to make a little money and I do not know what kind deal they had for staying in the house.

Maybe someone you actually see face to face that is right there on the ground can size you up and tell you what you are doing wrong or maybe they will just tell you Colombia is not for you.

This is my first post but long time reader. Thanks to you all for all the info you've shared as I've been taking active notes. I'll be visiting Cartagena very soon and was wondering how chica friendly are the hotels? I'll be staying at the Marriott.

I assume you get some advantage with your credit card or you have some kind of rewards program that makes Marriot your choice. Either way to my knowledge it is not chica friendly but I am not positive so maybe another monger has actuall experience with Marriott.

I am posting to say that if your hotel is not chica friendly you should familiarize yourself with love motels / hotels which are places you can rent by the hour for a so so reasonable price. Colombia is a traditional family culture where adults often live with their parents until they are married so these love hotels are useful when you cannot take someone home, and of course many men keep a mistress on the side, it is part of the culture as in many places. So these are not just for prostitution. One of the ones most often mentioned here is Hotel El Viajero and Hotel El Viajero #2 whic just up the street from LDV and Space. You can study the Cartagena List where these are denoted under hotels and motels as being "short time" and you can look on the Cartagena Map and they are located by finding the heart symbol. Alot of my observations have been mentioned many times on the site.

I'm randomly writing what's pops into my head while observations are fresh.

I will probably not return to Cartagena and would only recommend 5-7 days for first time travelers.

I hooked up with 3 nice girls with who I spent the entire 12 day vacation with- They were over 30 and had 3 kids each.

If your willing to commit to Colombia with multiple visits you could build yourself a nice book of contacts.

There are a lot of beautiful single women looking to meet gringos.

Observations.

Many tourists now finding apartments thru ABNB.

Afro Americans have arrived.

Heavy Rains in Loquito and Bocagrande will prevent taxi access so get ready to walk in 4 inches of water after storms.

The beach and street action is terrible. The chica scene is confined to Centro, Clubs, Internet and Brothels.

The girls come out after 10 pm. If your a "early to bed early to rise" type of guy your not going to like Cartagena.

You have to use WhatsApp.

None of the girls spoke English. Had to use Google translate on cell phones.

To many drug dealers (cocaine).

Roaches were in 2 apartments I stayed in.

Extortion. Police fined me $65 for not wearing a mask while smoking a cigarette outside of the courtyard entrance.

Noticed transvestites hanging outside church courtyard.

Too many panhandlers and vendors.

Extremely hot and humid.

Dirty beaches.

Only issue I have ever had with a place from Juan was the building rules I didn't know about. One building only allowed 1 guest per person. I travel solo, but could only bring one girl up. That was a bummer! Some buildings you have to pay a small fee per girl. Like 10 $ usd it came to. I knew that ahead of time. My favorite building they check ids. Have a fun time sir. Easy!

I've always found them to be very clean.

The girls in your pictures, no offense the typical trashy looking pros I see when I go out in centro at night. Just average looking skanks. Maybe I am too picky. But I don't feel like Columbian pros in Cartagena on average are that attractive at all. I also find their attitudes to be not so great.

Normal non pro Columbian women can be very stunning though. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong at all. The talent pool of pros here in Cartagena right now is very poor. Please prove to me otherwise. Mostly all I see are dirty looking tatted up 6's and 7's everywhere with fake ass implants and overall very trashy. So the very rare 8's and 9's want to charge a lot I have noticed and I can see why. The competition for them is not that high.

Got to agree with highontravel in regard to fuglies here as I just arrived yesterday. Too tired to go out last night but the pics someone posted recently of those two chicas was pure skankville. I did NOT travel here all that way for that type of talent. I hope that it's better on ground tonight. If you are here now, then you know it's a holiday (Día de la Raza) and the streets were teeming with people last night. There was a long line for De la Mar and that was after the sunset.
