No nudity in the bars, no blowjob bars. A much smaller concentration of bars, and less girls, but there are still more bars and girls than you could fuck in a lifetime. AC is much more grimy and polluted, with many more beggars and scam artists. In general AC girls are a bit more friendly and will act more like a girlfriend than the down to business sisters in Thailand. There are always exceptions, I've had plenty of GFE in Thailand (even some who stayed an extra day or two for free) and a few cold fish in the Philippines. I'm just speaking in generals.

I've made a lot of very good friends and scored with a lot of local girls after being chatted up in a park, cafe or standing in line for something. This often comes from college students, but not always. I once had a very wild weekend with a woman in Bangkok who chatted me in English on the train platform. I thought she was some kind of Thai scammer at first. My spider sense was way off. She was a Japanese woman just moved to Thailand for work and wanted to work on her English! Weird that I didn't identify her correctly since I worked in Japan and can speak a bit of the language. But she was very brown. She started by asking if I knew some restaurant. One thing led to another and we were fucking 3 times a day bareback, no holes barred, for the rest of the weekend. Never saw her again.

I think the key is not to be xenophobic but to keep a sharp eye out for scammers as opposed to regular people who are interested in meeting foreigners. It also depends where you are.

Arrived in AC about six days ago. Just a few thoughts. Been going here since 1999. When I first got here, BFs were 900 on Field's, and 500 on the perim. Around somewhere 2002 or 2004 as I recall, they reached 1000p on Fields. People were pissed about it too. Was either Stingers or Vegas with that "tradition" of charging a couple of hundred more. Of course back then, everything associated with AC-Mo / Kokomos was of higher price.

I look around and see these EWR prices, and it shocking. Not that I a cheap charlie. OK, I lied. Am a cheap charlie. Got sick of the bars back in 2005, and see then as a hindrance to getting the lady. If I want to drink, I do it at home. No reason to get the watered down thing at sky-high AC bar prices. Back then countless hotels at 650 pesos. Now I see ABC charging in USDs. WTF. Gee, I wonder why AC is getting so darn expensive. Thanks guys!

I've been all over the world and in many places I shouldn't have been. In my crazy days I woke one morning after a major drunk in the parking lot of a local housing project. All I remember was picking up two black chicks.

I did have one scam best me in the Czech republic. Totally my fault. I was lost, little outside the tourist track. It was two of them, one of me. As I handed over my money all I could think was I should know better than this. $200 lesson. Stay alert.

You see IF a Male person comes up to me on the streets of any city I am in anywhere in the world. It takes me about. 00001 second to label them a person I want to avoid at all cost. The fact that I am old and experienced has made me this way. I ask anyone WHY the HELL would you stop for a complete stranger no matter how friendly and stand there a listen to anything they have to say. Seriously IF a Male stranger walks up to you and say Hey Joe I got some nice girls for you are you really going to go with them REALLY.

I'm white and can't jump so basketball is out, but I'm pretty sure everything else you mention is available in AC except the ocean. As far as a beach goes, I lived outside of Olongapo (Baloy Beach) for 1 ½ years and I will never swim in that water again. If you travel around the area a bit, you'll see raw sewage being dumped into the ocean. I haven't been in Olongapo for a long time, but there used to be a bridge for foot traffic that went into the old US Naval base. The stream it crossed over was called 'Shit Creek' or 'Shit River' depending on who you talked to and there were turds floating in the water on their way out to sea. People used to throw change in the water and watch the local kids dive through the turds to get the coins.

I wouldn't swim anywhere near a major town in the PI. The last time I did, I was on antibiotics for a month or so to get rid of the bacterial infection I developed on my skin.

I doubt I would fall for something like that if I were in the middle of the Vatican City. And a 'stranger being so friendly' would have immediately raised suspicion with me.

That being said, I have been a 'tupid moron' as Gher2 so eloquently stated, when I was held up at gunpoint by an SW in New Orleans. I had dated her once before so it was quite shocking. I also had an SW attempt to rob me at knife point but I have no respect for knives and she left empty handed, literally, since I took the knife from her. I did feel 'tupid' but I'm not sure those incidents qualify as scams.
