Since reading all the posts here it seems like Brazil is a buyers market where there is room to negotiate given the economics of the country. I'm seeing so far the $400-$600 range is where you expect good service and if you pay more you're looking for something specific or you're being taken (for 1 HR time period that is) if you pay less like $100-$250 you will most likely get bait and switch and get quick rushed sex. The worse.
I would not use your approach because these girls seems to be getting a lot of messages all the time so after reading your message they will just move on. But if you throw them a number they have something to respond to and it's not like they get booked completely all the time so if they see no one is going to book them or few have for the day then they will take your reduced offer than nothing at all.
She gave me her 600 rate and I told her the time I wanted her and for 500. She took it. At worse she will say 600 is her firm rate so no harm no foul. If I gave her a 100 offer yea that would be stupid. She was worth 600 anyways so if I did pay that I would be fine with that.
With Yasmin P from Private55 her rate was 400 and given her looks and twitter profile that was more than a fair price. No need to negotiate. Worth the price.
With my first post with the girl who baited and switch me she wanted 250 for 1 HR so I said lets do 2 HR for 500, makes sense right? She asked for 800. Ridiculous. I knew that price was too high. Took the 1 HR, had a bad session and learned my lesson. Knew something was wrong and avoided making a costly mistake.

Just make sure to use a card without fx fees and no ATM fees. Using a hotel is rarely a good route to take. With all that said, was shocked they wanted to charge you 10%.

However, I recommend using them during daylight hours.

Surprised me too. She was the first and only guest as I had booked only one night and it was hard getting a hold of any other girl plus it was getting late. I tweaked the map of Sao Paulo (courtesy of World Traveler) and added different groups / icons for Clinicas, Boates (not sure if this differs from "Clubs" Clubs, Swinger Clubs, Prives, Love Hotels, Other, Hotels / Neighborhoods / Airports). What I don't like about Google My Maps is the integration with Google Maps for directions, [B]which sucks![/B]. I thought it'd integrate just fine, but it doesn't, it almost defeats the purpose of why I updated the map. I'm slowly moving these things over to Google Maps, which sucks because you don't have visible groupings with individual icons.
I feel the map could use some more input / updates as for as:
1) Girl Friendly Hotels, I know it's listed in this forum, just haven't gone through, and include with notes if they charge more, etc.
2) Girl Friendly AirBnbs.
