You have options. I will not pay 100 dollars for a cab. Go to a casino. They will check your bags. While in the casino see if there is some talent walking around. There is almost always some talent. Once talent is secured get a cab to the nearest cabana. This is how to start your trip off. The cabana cost about 26 dollars for nice accomodations. If you have no luck at the casino every cab driver knows a chica ready to fuck your brains out. You are in the DR the dollar is king. Just like burger king you can have it your way. When you are done have the same cab take you to the bus station in the morning and for 260 pesos you are on you way anywhere in the Dr with a smile on your face. Trust me. Good mongering requires a little patients and creativity. Cabanas are awesome and cab drivers are universal pimps. These two things can keep you rolling.
OldKool, this is the type of unsolicited, yet valuable information that I have come to expect from this board. I will arrive during the day, yet stopping at a casino and a cabana, before hopping the bus to Sosua, sounds like a marvelous idea.
So much useful information on this board, it boggles my mind why guys spend time fighting. Aren't we all here for the same thing?
Don't be such a drama queen! Is this all because I made a crack about you posting a photo of a girl who looks like she has a black eye? I am not in any way suggesting that you gave it to her!
LOL, so now I'm the irrational one? My bad, I was just trying to figure out what:
The last one appears to have a black eye!
Had to do with:
You must be color blind.
But you're right. Maybe I should have just responded by saying:
I don't get it?
Missed the boat.
I got so much that I wish to say, but it would be in response to posts from several pages back. I had my honey from ATL in town and I could barely get a moment to myself let alone hit up the forum.
All I will say. Is that we have some highly opinionated folks on this board who don't know what the fcuk they are talking about. To paint with such a broad stroke and make these sweeping generalizations just proves how narrow your frame of mind.
At the end of the day, do whatever the fcuk works for you, but don't sit back and judge somebody else. All this bickering is like some little ho's. If you want to bring it my way, come correct or get your ass verbally assassinated.
Since I can't get to the DR until August, maybe I can score with one of the Dominican mami's on this cruise that I embark on Sunday. I want to see what my game is all about.
Gogo, once again you have made me smile. I owe alot to you my brother and I am thankful that I have been fortunate to approach the scene properly from day one. I have had some experiences that gives me the shakes when I reminisce. And that shit is priceless right there! LOL

Western Union in Sosua
Does anyone know if this is still a good spot for exchanging dollars for pesos? Got kinda concerned every since Mr. E said they tried to scam him by claiming that one of his Benjamin's was counterfeit and that they would have to keep it for further investigation. Any one had any problems there lately? I used them a couple of times on my way from the airport to my hotel but never had any problems.
With all this being said I still had as great of a time as any place I've been for the most part.
I have not been to Sosua in years. I first visited Sosua, more than 8 years ago. High Caribe was a big disco located away from the main strip, basically near some fields. D'Latinos disco was a small place above Alfs Internet cafe. Classicos did not exist. The new casino did not exist. Passions massage had no walls near the sidewalk, passions had two open-air bars with palm frond roofs. Pluto Bar existed on one corner of the main street, it had paintings of the Disney character Pluto, painted on the walls. 4 roses bar was busy.

That was the "Old Sosua" and we all were falling hard. We all had new girlfriend's for the weekend. The hardest part about the "Old Sosua" was getting them to leave. You are of the "Old School", and that is you're blessing.
Back then girl's came to Sosua for a boyfriend. Even though it was a Ho town, romance was still in the air. Girl's wanted to take you to their home to cook for you. Girl's wanted you to stay in their home with them. Girl's cried when you left. I remember after my first trip driving to the airport singing Spanish love song's, and I didn't speak any Spanish then LOL.
Now some guy's only want to fuck for an hour. The girl's have figured out that they can make the same money in an hour that they used to charge for TLN. It's a win, win for the girl's. But guy now are saying " I'm a player", go figure.

I know what you are saying I was not in Sosua back in the day but I see what you are saying. Guys who think buying pussy the fastest makes you a player and have trained the chicas to sell pussy fast makes the most money. The truth is they are right. If slam bam is your mod of operation have at it. I like women and enjoy a conversation after I fuck them. Some folk think women are bitches and use them like dish rags. We all have our own styles. These chicas call these guys "muther fuckkers" and their reps blow back on all of us. May be it is a age thing. May be when you are showing your ass being a playa nothing esle matters.

Nice to see what Sosua was like before most of us were even aware of its existence. When I visited La Passions in '09 for the first time it was still like it was in the photos you posted; an open-air bar with the palm frond roofs.

We all have our own styles.
I'm not sure how this always gets looked at negatively, but the same way one person enjoys the company of just one woman, there are some that enjoy multiple women. It has nothing to do with using women as "dish rags" though.
I can only speak for myself, but I like variety. Sosua (for me) is like an amusement park, so of course I want to "ride all of the rides"; but that doesn't automatically qualify me as trying to be a player or thinking of them as "bitches." I'm just the type of person that usually gets bored easily with only one chica. Sure I have my favorites, but I definitely do not spend the entire day with them. I usually send them home in the morning and have them come back later that evening once I'm done "riding all the rides". If I where someplace like Santo Domingo, then I would definitely not try doing chicas in large numbers and would probably just stick to a handful (damn, there I go again, lol) of "absolute stunners". But in Sousa there is no need for that. They have all traveled halfway around the island to meet YOU, so have your fill, lol!
As far as those "other guys", well, there are "assholes" that treat women like shit in both categories. Only, for those guys that like to "cuff" one particular chica for multiple days (and is an asshole that treats women like shit) , then everyday is probably hell for her until the prick gets on the airplane and leaves. She'd probably rather have a "wham, bam, thank you mam" asshole-prick in this instance since the difference is a matter of minutes to hours, rather than days spent with the "one chica" prick.
Trust me, I've seen my fair share of chicas sitting around with these guys looking bored as hell while he's jaw-jackin with his buddies. These chicas usually have a look on their faces that says "could you please fuck me already so that I can go home?"
-
One reason the multi Chica guys get looked down upon on these boards is because the girls put that negative stigma out there. But we must remember that girls have a vested interest in keeping guys honest, so to speak. I usually take things concerning other men told to me by a Chica with a grain of salt. They are usually feeding us bs to make money off us. The problem arises when we listen and spend time arguing over petty drama cooked up by chicas. As the kids say today,"just do you," which I take to mean just enjoy yourself.

I used to bribe the parking guy and park my rented car close to the entrance. The place was quite big inside and outside. All chicas came there. Nice big dance floor. Can walk around scoping potential targets. Compared to present day discoes it was very good. Now there is hardly any space to move and pockets can be picked easily.
I believe High Caribe was closed because couple of guys were killed in a shootout there.

Sosua Car Wash was close to High Caribe. Sosua Car Wash used to have live music. Playa Chiquita Casino disco used to be fun, late at night.
