Under the same general management is the upstairs bar (girls and momasans float between the two). As written in previous posts, the bar hosts two shifts (teams) of dancers. One short, young and topless. The other older and more exotic. There are no ladyboys. The young shift are as barely-legal looking as I have found in Bangkok, though most are in their early and mid-twenties. There is less pressure here than in most bars and while the momasans will try to get you to make quick barfine, tell them once you will make up your mind on your own and they will back away. Speak directly and they will act accordingly. Be non-specific and they will continue to try to hustle you into selecting a girl.

Early in the night the girls want 2000 THB for a short-time in your hotel, 1500 THB for a short time in a short-time hotel within Nana. Later you can get 1500 THB for your hotel, and 2500 THB long-time. The girls will never admit to these prices in front of others, but will cave quickly in private negotiation.

I've had success converting a 1500 short-time in my hotel into a 2000 long-time.

Be warned, however, if you go late you may well be customer number two or three for the younger, barely legal girls.

There is a mamasan from Buriram (spelling?) who is a bit of a large lady. Her English is very good and she is an excellent host. Buy her one drink and she will make sure you get what you want, aren't hounded by the other momasans and that the girl you go with understands what you expect.

I found the momasans at both bars pushy until I spoke to them very clearly that I didn't want or need help, that I knew how to game worked and that I was fine sitting alone.

No problems upstairs ever since, but I do buy the one Buriram (sp?) momasan the occassional drink ... but never more than one per night and no tipping her.

There is one momasan downstairs who is pushy but she gets the hint after awhile. But that's why I spend most my time upstairs.

Sorry Fun and Sun, I respect your opinion but I believe the failure is yours. At this forum you'll find there's a common sense response protocol that follows almost any anecdotal observation or statement of fact related to monger matters. Responses will fall into the following general categories:

1) It is a bit of a "fake" scene. There is a kind of show with spanking, whipping, candles, humiliation show but there are many visual effects involved.
2) Charges are clear and expensive. Been there once and not charged extra
3) Yes they are, they have rooms upstairs actually. Never tried though.

I'd hardly put it outside the realm of possibility. Many of these ladies are incredibly well connected and a lot of them have a better understanding of technology than many here. I don't know if this site is specifically on radar for the ladies, but I do know that some regions in the world have discussion forums for the ladies. In any event, there is a web site called Model Mayhem where there are women in Thailand who will happily pose for photographers in various states of dress and undress. There are a number of Bangkok models with pages on there.

I believe most of the photos of sexual encounters posted on ISG are the equivalent of quasi trophies likely taken without the complete understanding of the woman that they'll end up on the internet.
