It is not very Dominican but I have a good time there. Sometimes semi pros who need some cash will troll for tourists. I have had some very nice ladies there. There are some good deals there for services. I had a manicure. Pedicure and a massage for 1000 pesos. There are plenty of places to eat and much fun to be had.

When I mentioned authentic Dominican in reference to Calle El Conde I was comparing it to other tourist areas in the Dominican Republic like Punta Cana and Cabarette. The energy created by seeing Dominican men play chess and cards and the subsequent banter that goes back and forth along with the obvious local population that traverses the area created a distinctly different impression than the other tourist areas I have visited in the Dominican Republic.

Agree with everything you said. Except the bit about semi-pros. It's not sometimes, they are there all day, every day. Of course, they are invisible compared to the over the top Sosua hookers. It's not better or worse, it's about personal preference, the human interaction and discretion that goes along with dating girls who don't live and work on a hooker stroll is not for everybody.

I tried to use my tourist pass from on line. They said it was an entry fee and not a pass. I had already used it once and just reprinted it. So you can't save the $10. Still the way to go one guy told me he had stood in the tourist card line for over 30 minutes. I stood in the entry line for over 1 hour. Pain in the ass.

Taxi now want $40. Some hard bargaining got it to $35.

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza for the first 2 nights. Points / free. Did the reservation online. The hotel print out was not right. I showed 1 person. I changed that to 2 and ask the guy if I needed to put the name. He said yes. I had a couple of girls from Dominican cupid lined up. That was one way of screening them. I would tell them I needed there full name for the hotel entry.

First girl showed up without an ID. She had someone actually bring it from home. The hotel front desk gave me static but I prevailed at every point. First the girl tried to say only 1 person. But I showed her on the form where I had changed it to 2 and my confirmation had 2. Then she tried the must be identified on the checkin. Again I showed her where I had listed her name.

The girl was as advertised. Here is were I went wrong. We went to the room where I proceeded to kiss and suck her breasts. She displayed a lot of passion. She had said she was hungry previously. I found a stopping point and suggested we go to eat. She said okay. We walked up to honus Villa, one of my favorite places. Good food for the money.

I took the Dominican cupid girl to Honus Villa. She was dark skinned very slender and very attractive. She wanted to call her cousins. This is typical, everybody eats. I declined and she became distance. Back at the the room she informed me that she could not stay as she had school the next day. She did not want to have sex but wanted to come back tomorrow for that. I said no and ask her to leave. She wanted 1000 pesos for the taxi. I gave her 300. I figured 300 was less then I would pay for a dance in the stated and I did more than touch.

I then went out and up the street to Girls house and the other one right beside it. They wanted 4000 pesos for 2 hours or 4400 for total la noche. This was way to much for the talent level, which I though was low. There are a couple of other spots up the street and 1 down the street and up Cervantes. They wanted 1300 for 2 hours same or better talent level (in my opinion). Nothing moved me so I headed back to the hotel.

On the street beside the Crowne Plaza (The Hotel shakey side). I found a couple of girls both of who I thought were better than anything at the houses. We bargained for 3 hours at 2000 pesos (the exchange rate at the casino was 44 to 1 at Franks it was 44.4 to 1). We proceeded to Mystic hotel where I paid $35 for a room, which they keep for the night. Very good. Both excellent and very willing performers.

I guess it could have been worse, they could have spent a lot of time explaining the penalties for trying to enter the country illegally and either denied entry, charged a fine or demanded a bribe.

Paying for and printing out the tourist card before travel is a good idea, trying to save $10 isn't.

Went to a place called Oasis somewhere in Gazcue. They had around 20 girls there. The manager told me USD 100 (one hour on-site, two hours takeaway). I talked him down to 3000 pesos (USD 66) for two hours takeaway and chose a girl. I give her an 8. She's 23 yo and really thin. I pay the manager 3000 pesos and we leave. Turns out her own car is parked in front so she drives us to my apt in that. I live about 5 min drive away.

We bang for a good 30 min and it was pretty good. Then the bait & switch began. She wanted to leave, didn't want to fulfill the two hours. Didn't want to bang again. She said that's not part of the deal. Complained about my apt not being clean. Started texting and talking on the phone. Bragged about how her "other clients" pay her like USD 200 or more per hour. She is dreaming. Nobody pays that much in the DR and if they do they need their heads examined. And I told her that.

Basically, her attitude was terrible. When she finally leaves she demands 200 pesos for "gas money". I said hell no, not with your attitude. Then she pushes all the objects off my kitchen table onto the floor. I point to the door and tell her to leave. Then she pulls a handgun out of her purse. At this point I'm just like WTF. I tell her to get the fuck out and she finally does.

My favorite pastime in SD is to sit on the terrace of Mystic hotel drinking with the fellas as we place bets on how long it will take the girl leaving with a guy to ditch him and return to the Casa. I've seen guys walking around like they lost their puppy after they have been scammed, sad shit.

I will say though that those casas have some of the finest girls you will ever see. I don't think they get 200usd in a regular basis but i believe a high roller will come through every now and then and pay that.
