The house would try to upsell you to some 'special' oil for an extra 40 CNY. The outfits had changed from the sexy skirts and heels to white smocks like nurses wear, and flat-soled green cloth shoes. The quality of the massages were still top-notch.

Fast forward to now, and there's a middle path being followed. The skirts are gone, replaced by an off-white top, black pants, but still wearing the 5 inch heels. Massages are not as good, handjobs are better than ever and the girls have started watching the clock. Still good, still repeatable, but diminished.

The only thing that gets to me is the damn distance. I live off in the west end of town and Spring is'and't anywhere near me.

It looks closed and the lights are switched off, the girls aren't seated in the front parlour as before BUT step in and you will be ushered in through what looks like a false cupboard door for the same service as before. The girls are quite hot 6-7 but I don't like the constant haggling at this place. You pay RMB. 300 to go in and the girls negotiate for 2 girls, BBBJ, and even FS. They're also always in a hurry to finish and send you out.

This year and saw the sign that its turning into a hotel (he yi of ru jia group), doubt its going to be sacrosa 2. 0, sure would hope for a new sacrosa.

Odd. You've both had very different experiences to me.

I've rarely been asked for tip for standard HJ service (that is with the standard 298 HJ or 398 RMB BJ service).

Tip is for extra services beyond the above, and it's possible to get what Midwestern was trying for.

Since the LE crackdown last summer, I've not found 398 RMB service anywhere, and I've tried about 6 different stores. 298 service is now 358 RMB service. But extras can still be had with a tip.

Also, Aurangzeb: there are spring shops all over Shanghai, including the west. Use the dianping app and search for "Chun" then click the first thing that comes up. It will give you a list of 20 or so Spring shops.

Back in Shanghai in 2 weeks. Always love hitting the bars so I'm pleased Manhattan is back open after recent LE activity.
