Hi Guys,

I'll be in Cebu this weekend.

I'd originally booked a serviced apartment in the Newtown area on Mactan for a few days before heading to Quest.

The owner emailed me a few days ago via Booking to say the room was flooded and he'd switch me to his other apartment near the airport, which looked like a dive of a place in comparison.

I've cancelled via Booking and got a full refund but had to make an alternative hotel choice at the last minute.

Just wondering if anyone's stayed at Cebu Grand Vibo Hotel in the city?

As usual I'll be taking the FL and Pina approach.

When I was planning a Cebu trip I was considering the Hilton Garden Inn because it's rather new. I think it opened last year.

I've stayed in a few but remember the Trillium as being a reasonable quality, location and guest friendly. Meet new friends at Ayala or regular visitors were allowed to come straight to the room if they had signed in several times before.

I guess you know that the Quest has balcony rooms separated by solid walls that allow you some privacy while she is leaning over the railing watching the traffic below. The ultimate you can see them but they can't see you.

Well after long day of airports, flights and transport, I've landed in Cubu City again.

Turned Pina on about 10 pm last night, and after my location was updated to Cebu, the phone just started pinging.

Just a bit worn out for action on the first night.

This morning I went for a walk down to Ayala, and on top floor near the terraces, I spotted this pretty little thing by the escalator and we made eye contact.

This is mainly an observation for the new fellas.

As a few would remember from a couple of years back, I couldn't really see the point at the time (for some reason) of hitting the ground and then spending time in a hotel room trying to sort through options and lining up FL's on Pina. A $40 paid premium subscription is a small price to pay for the month, two weeks, or whenever you're here in The Phils.

I use my log-in on both the laptop and the phone app. The laptop makes it easier to read and delete messages, but the phone notifies girls when you're close by. I've read mixed reviews on how frequently that mall has action. I was going to stay at one of the nearby hotels and just stroll through to see which FLs were on sale.

I wasn't sure if that would provide enough catches for a full trip. It'll be interesting to hear how your trip turns out.

Being my first visit and a success at that on day one, without actually actively seeking anything, I wouldn't expect to soley rely on the mall for action.

I assume going back to the same spot day after day, could be a bit awkward if you keep on running into previous girls while seeking alternatives.

It's also quite an upmarket mall and I guess the girls wouldn't want to attract too much attention from security and get kicked out.

I'm moving to a hotel across the road in a few days so I'll sniff it out.

I had yesterday's Ayala girl back here tonight for a repeat perfomance and I'm hooking up with her again on Tuesday, so I'll ask her how many are floating around and get the run down.

You have to love sinner's Sunday in The Phils.

Woke up a bit hazy and still getting over the travel, late nights and yesterday's action, when I received a message from one of the Pina girls via WhatsApp at about 11 am.
